  1. "You can be sure that the more we undergo sufferings for Christ, the more He will shower us with His comfort and encouragement." - 2 Corinthians 1:5 These sufferings are not sickness and poverty as some religious teaching suggest. These afflictions are described as the "fellowship of sufferings" that the believer will encounter for doing the will of God, or the sufferings brought on by one's allegiance to Jesus. "That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death." - Philippians 3:10 "And now, little children, abide (live, remain permanently) in Him, so that when He is made visible, we may have and enjoy perfect confidence...." - 1 John 2:28 The Word states that when we abide in Him and He is "visible,"-- we have confidence. So we can say that when we abide in Christ, we are able to "see" more clearly, and when we have vision we can also be bold and assured. We are His temple -- we need to continue to draw near." Hunger for God is one of the greatest signs of life a person can have. We must press past intellectual awareness to hunger for heartfelt encounters that change and transform. Is there not deep inside you a longing for His continuous presence? Do you not crave an increase of God's love, God's joy, God's peace, God's power? AFFIRMATIONS: I become sensitive to my spirit by meditating on spiritual things at all times -- by meditating on the Lord, on His goodness, on His greatness, and on His word. God's best for me is to take the seed of His word and plant it in my heart where it will naturally and effortlessly produce the changes that I desire. My goal is to extend the Kingdom of God to earth. He is God with you, for all time and throughout eternity. Don’t let the familiarity of that concept numb its impact on your consciousness. His perpetual Presence with you can be a continual source of Joy, springing up and flowing out in streams of abundant Life. Let your mind reverberate with meanings of His Names: Jesus—the Lord saves, and Emmanuel—God with us. Strive to remain conscious of His Presence even in your busiest moments. Talkwith Him about whatever delights you, whatever upsets you, whatever is on your mind. These tiny steps of daily discipline, taken one after the other, will keep you close to Him on the path of Life. “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” … “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.” - Matthew 1:21, 23 “You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.” - Acts 2:28 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. You know there are things you are doing now that are temporary. You are doing them only until you find the thing God wants you to do, the real work you were meant to do. When the fire reaches your core, you will trash all the vestiges of harmless, powerless living. Our best days are yet to come! God sent us to do a job and we're going to reap because He is the one who sent us to do it! When we launch out at His Word, we're going to catch what we need to catch, even in some instances where we've not labored. "As the Father has sent me, even so, I send you." - John 20:21 God has put something inside of us and He wants it to flow out. The more it flows out, the more life it's going to bring. If there's only a trickle at first, He wants it to become a mighty river. It affects lives. You may be experiencing an urging or intense desire that God is stirring within you -- something you know that you need to step into immediately. Each time we respond to His urging it is one more advancement into our DESTINY. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. If the Bible is a Catholic book, 1. Why does it condemn clerical dress? (Matt. 23:5-6). 2. Why does it teach against the adoration of Mary? (Luke 11:27-28). 3. Why does it show that all Christians are priests? (1 Pet. 2:5,9). 4. Why does it condemn the observance of special days? (Gal. 4:9-11). 5. Why does it teach that all Christians are saints? (1 Cor. 1:2). 6. Why does it condemn the making and adoration of images? (Ex. 20:4-5). 7. Why does it teach that baptism is immersion instead of pouring? (Col. 2:12). 8. Why does it forbid us to address religious leaders as "father"? (Matt. 23:9). 9. Why does it teach that Christ is the only foundation and not the apostle Peter? (1 Cor. 3:11). 10. Why does it teach that there is one mediator instead of many? (1 Tim. 2:5). 11. Why does it teach that a bishop must be a married man? (1 Tim. 3:2, 4-5).
  4. Your teenager needs to hear father pray. He needs to hear mother pray for him and for herself. He needs to know that his parents trust him to God. We must go on to maturity. We must set our vision on the PURPOSE (our DESTINY for which we have been made a new creation. "For all the promises of God in Christ are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." - 2 Corinthians 1:20 There is a union between Christ and the Christian that is so deep, so pure, so sweet, so real, that the very conditions of the human spirit are transmitted to His, and the conditions of Christ's spirit are transmitted to ours. PRAYER: Father, in the name of Jesus I ask You to strengthen me through Your love and wisdom. Lord Jesus, this day I choose to deny myself, take up my cross and follow You. I will fulfill my destiny through the inner strength of Your might and power. In Jesus' name, Amen. AFFIRMATIONS: Jesus is my Great High Priest, and He is interceding for me right now. I boldly confess that I am fear-free and that anxiety has no place in me! Like Abraham I stagger not at the promises of God through unbelief; but am strong in faith giving glory to God! I am no accident going somewhere to happen. My life isn't just a loose web of events and circumstances. God has specific plans for me. Romans 5:3,4 - "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope." Jesus did not come to deliver us from our problems but from ourselves. He did not come to change our circumstances - He came to change us. Hebrews 12:2, "We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith's perfection." The Lord calls each one and is beckoning us to come into His presence. As our eyes are transfixed on His eyes our vision changes and we are seeing through the eyes of Jesus. We are given strategies for breakthrough; and we are given revelation on direction we should take or information we would need for the new season ahead. Some are given a scene of encouragement and comfort as they looked through the eyes of Jesus. These Believers are walking through difficult times, but as they fixed their eyes on Jesus their vision is filled with peace, comfort, and hope. Romans 15:13, "Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in Him." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1 Faith is stronger than belief. To believe is to give intellectual assent; to have faith is to be inseparable from the object of your devotion. Belief can be changed or lost by a more persuasive argument. True faith is so much a part of the person it can only be taken by death. A poverty of soul must eternally torment that man who is satisfied merely to reason about eternal life, while remaining without the real possession and power of the indwelling Son of God manifest in his daily experience. If we are always reasoning, then we cannot cultivate the silence in which God speaks. The Lord wants to fill us with a holy desperation and a holy violence to lay hold of Him. It's a hunger that will drive us into holy romance with the Lord -- to enthrone Him in every area of our lives -- it's a fresh hunger to come into such intimacy with Jesus that we die to ourselves and come into holy union with Him in every way. Hunger for God is one of the greatest signs of life a person can have. We must press past intellectual awareness to hunger for heartfelt encounters that change and transform. "O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee; my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is." - Psalm 63:1 We are to live in the very Glory of God. However, we must daily overcome the spirit of the world and press behind the veil that is already torn that we might eat of the Bread of Heaven and look upon the blueprints of heaven. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. The Holy Spirit now lives in your inner man to strengthen you and help you to do what you could not do without Him. God's kingdom authority, dominion, and majesty should be reigning in every believer's inner man. "That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.....that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." - Ephesians 3:16,19 In order to hear from God, you must be convinced that God is going to talk to you right then and there as you are praying. The revelation that John the Baptist had concerning the Good News and his fresh revelation of the Kingdom must all be "pressed into." We cannot receive present truth revelation without enduring the press. "The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the Kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it." - Luke 16:16 How will your life change as you become more extreme with your faith? Can you visualize how your relationship with the Father is changing? AFFIRMATIONS: I confess that I am exactly the kind of person God wants to use! My heart is right; my attitude is willing; and I deeply desire for God to shape me to become a mighty instrument in His hands. As I spend time with Jesus, I am being changed into His image - and I demonstrate His life and His nature to other people! I confess that I live "In faith". I will never relinquish the dream He has put in my heart. Matthew 4:16 says, "The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Just begin to accept the idea that you shine. You received Christ, so your spirit is shining. You may not feel like it, or you may not realize it, but Christ is living inside of you. He is glowing for everyone to see. You may have good days and you may have bad days, but Jesus loves you and He is transforming you into His glorious light. Your mind is being healed and you shall overcome – simply because you confessed His name and asked Him to become real in your life.light has dawned." You may feel dead in every area of your life, but the light of Jesus is dawning. You may not feel that anything good can come out of your life, but the light of Jesus is dawning. The power of death is destroyed, and you will overcome. Jesus' light is life and brings peace to everyone who enters into it. You are entering into the fires of God. You are entering into the baptism of fire by the Holy Spirit, and your righteousness is about to shine in ways you never imagined. Jesus is going to be zealous in your heart and you are going to be bold like a lion. The next season is going to be a great season for you. Your light is going to shine! "Arise, shine, For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you." - Isaiah 60:1,2 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
