  1. Are you tired of going around the same old mountain hoping to get to the top, but the obstacles hold you back? It is time to shake off the old and get ready for the new and for receiving the workings of Christ in you, for new beginnings - for the rich oil of His anointing. God wants to resurrect things that have died in you. You may think that your window of occasion is past the time that anything good can happen, but remember we serve the God of the resurrection. "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life....." - John 11:25 We are to be continually taking ground for the Kingdom of God as we position ourselves in the place that He has called us to. As we continually experience His person our eyes are opened to see from His heavenly perspective. If we choose not to heed the leading of the Spirit and become proactive in renewing our minds, it is possible that we will limit God's power and anointing from flowing through our lives because of un-renewed thinking patterns that we are still embracing. You have the potential to believe impossibilities into possibilities. "Everything is possible for him who believes." - Mark 9:23 AFFIRMATIONS: New faith and hope are growing in me daily. Things have never been the way they are going to be because God is doing a new work in me The same power that raised Jesus from the dead enables me to rise out of my adverse circumstances and step into the purposes of God for my life. "For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God." - Romans 8:19-21 He designed you, inside and out, to be a vessel. There is a measure of God's glory that has become your responsibility to release on the earth. You don't release it all at once. You do it every time you flow in what God called you to do. You do it every time you advance the Kingdom, every single time you do God's work. The Kingdom of Heaven is within you. You have access to heavenly blessings and power here on earth. Each of us has a PURPOSE on the earth, and He longs to release His glory through each of us. However, we will never find our true CALLING in Christ as long as we are trying to pretend to be more like that person or this person, thereby limiting the flow of what He wants to do through us. There is a move of God in the earth that only you can fulfill. Creation is groaning in anticipation of you releasing all that glory that God packed on the inside of you. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. I will not be debating any of these points, i offer this just to get you thinking, maybe for the first time in your life. 33 Science Proofs of the Bible The Bible is proven by: A. Its Unity. The Bible was given by God through 40 prophets, over 1600 years in 66 books. It contains history, prophecy, science, law, doctrine, morality, origins and human biographies, yet we never see the slightest disagreement between any of its writers on any subject. If you ask 40 of your friends to discuss their opinions on the past, the future, morality, law, philosophy, etc., you will find many differences of opinion. The Bible, on the other hand, agrees 100% on every subject it discusses. This is strong proof that the Bible comes from the true God. B. Fulfilled Prophecy as Proof of the Bible “Show the things that are to come hereafter that we may know that ye are gods…” (Isaiah 41:23). Here God challenges all other religions claiming to be the truth to prove that they are from God by predicting future events. The Bible is the only book in the world that correctly predicts the future many hundreds of times without error. No other book does this. The Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim writings contain no cases of clearly fulfilled prophecies. This proves that they are not from God. Any man can write a book with moral teachings. Only God can write a book that always correctly foretells the future as the Bible does. C. Scientific Accuracy. When the Bible makes a scientific statement, it is always proven correct after man has discovered all of the relevant facts. The Bible has no scientific errors. It contains scientific information that was unknown to man at the time of writing, but was only discovered recently. Question: How did the Bible possess knowledge not then known to man? God authored the Bible, revealing new information, so that we can be sure it is God’s word. Question: Why do other religious books not reveal new scientific information, but contain many errors? Because those books are man made, are limited by man’s current state of knowledge and have not come from the true God. We reject them as counterfeits seeking to control us and bring us into error. Question: What examples of scientific facts in the Bible were unknown to man at the time of writing? 1) The Universe consists of Space, Mass and Time as in Genesis 1:1. It is a space-mass-time continuum. “In the beginning (time) God created the heaven (space) and the earth (mass).” Each of these has three components showing the Trinity as Creator of time (past, present, future), space (length, breadth, height), and mass (solid, liquid, gas). Only the Bible states that time had a beginning. 2) Our Star, the Sun, was formed on day four of the creation week because all stars form from clouds of gas. Our sun was a gas cloud that gave light on days one, two and three of the creation week. ‘God made two lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.’ (Genesis 1:16). “Astronomers in the US believe they have figured out how stars form from clouds of gas.” See www.physicsworld.com/cws/article/news/23622 (Nature 438, 322). 3) Pangea (one original land mass in Genesis 1:9) and Continental Drift after Noah’s Flood. In 1912 Alfred Wegener proposed the theory of Continental Drift that today’s continents had once formed from a single landmass (known as Pangea) before breaking apart and drifting to their present locations. This is now accepted as true due to plant and animal fossils, such as Mesosaurus being found in Brazil and South Africa, as well as Lystrosaurus fossils being found in rocks in South America, Africa and Antarctica. (www.wikipedia/continentaldrift). The Bible teaches this in Genesis 1:9 “And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear:” If the water is in one place, so is the land. After Noah’s flood, continental drift occurred in Eber’s time, “And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided.” Genesis 10:25 4) All Mankind came from One Woman “Adam called his wife’s name Eve: because she was the mother of all living.” (Genesis 3:20). DNA is found in every cell, in both the nucleus and the mitochondrion (energy station). Mitochondrial DNA is always and only inherited from the mother. Analysis of this DNA in humans from all over the world shows unmistakably that all humans on earth have inherited it from one woman. This research was done by Wilson, Cann, and Stoneking from the University of California, Berkeley in 1987. www.gotquestions.org/Chromosomal-Adam-Mitochondrial-Eve. Creation Ex Nihilo, Vol.12, No.2, March 1990 5) Diseases Caused by Pigs. “The swine….is unclean to you. Of their flesh shall ye not eat and their carcass shall ye not touch”. (Leviticus 11:7,8). God forbad the eating of pork from pigs because of the lack of refrigeration in 1500BC, and roasting pork over an open flame does not destroy the parasites. Parasites are obtained by handling fresh pork. Some diseases are caused by eating pork that is not properly cooked. For example, Trichinosis larvae attach to the intestine when eaten. They then bore through the intestine into the blood stream, and the larvae are carried to all parts of the body. They develop and grow in a person’s striated muscle. Pork tapeworm may feed off the intestine and grow to 12 feet long. It may be fatal in 10-20 years. God, by forbidding people to eat or touch pork, shows His care for us. Question: How did the Bible know about the dangers of pork in 1500BC? Answer: God wrote the Bible. 6) Leprosy must be Quarantined. “he (the leper) shall dwell alone; outside the camp shall his habitation be. Thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is by fire.” (Leviticus 13:46,57). Moses laid down the rules to recognise and to quarantine the infected leper as contagious, lest other people catch leprosy. 7) Hands and Clothes Washing. “Whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands in water,.he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.” (Leviticus 15:11). Until 1900 AD, many hospital patients died due to infections caused by doctors not washing their hands or clothing after contact with infectious patients. The Bible required repeated washing of hands in running water with time allowed for drying and exposure to the sun to kill the bacteria. 8) The Bloodstream Carries Life. “The life of the flesh is in the blood.” (Leviticus 17:11). From 400 BC to 1900 AD, a procedure called “blood letting” was popular. Sick people had blood drained from their bloodstream as a supposed therapeutic measure. This killed millions of people, such as George Washingtom. People thought that blood carried disease instead of life. By draining the blood, the patient died of blood loss. Now we give blood to some sick patients. The Bible was right again. 9) Sanitation. “Thou shalt have a place outside the camp…when thou shalt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig (with a paddle) and shall turn back and cover that which cometh from thee.” (Deuteronomy 23:12,13). Up until 1800, human excrement was dumped onto the unpaved, filthy streets. Powerful stenches gripped villages and cities. Flies bred in the filth, spreading intestinal diseases that killed millions of people. Deaths by diseases such as typhoid, cholera and dysentery could have been avoided if they had obeyed the Bible. Question: How did the Bible know this, when man didn’t understand it until 1800? Answer: God wrote it. Moses never learned this information from Egypt. Egypt’s standard medical textbook was the “Papyrus Ebers”, containing quack cures like “lizards’ blood, pigs’ teeth, stinking fat, meat, pig’s ear wax, excreta from humans, dogs, flies, cats”. Moses never referred to these false cures in his writings. 10) The Height of Stars. “Behold the height of the stars, how high they are.” (Job 22:12). Man did not know how high and far away the stars are until Bessel in 1838 measured the distances of stars using the parallax method. Alpha Centauri, earth’s nearest star is 4 x 1013 kms (40,000 billion kms) away. Compare this with the Quran’s error: “We adorned the nearest (lowest) heaven with lamps (stars)” (41:12) 11) Very Great Number of Stars. “As the host of heaven cannot be numbered” quoted in Jeremiah 33:22 in 590 BC. “He (God) telleth the number of stars; he calleth them all by their names.” (Psalm 147:4). Ptolemy in 150AD dogmatically said that 1056 stars existed. Scientists estimate that there are at least 10" x 10" = 10²² stars. 12) The Earth Hangs in Space. “He hangeth the earth upon nothing.” (Job 26:7) was stated in 1500 BC. Until modern times “experts” believed that the earth sat on four elephants, standing on a giant turtle, who swam in the ocean. Man did not know how the earth could hang in space on nothing. Yet this is what happens due to gravitational attraction between earth and the sun. It looks like the earth hangs on nothing. Compare this with the Quran’s error: “Who has made the earth for you like a bed (spread out).” (20:53) 13) Winds have Weight and hence Air Pressure. “To make the weight for the winds.” (Job 28:25). Galileo in 1600 AD noted that a suction pump would not raise water more than 34 feet. Torricelli suggested that if air could support a column of water 34 feet high, then air should support a column of mercury about 2.5 feet high, because mercury is 13 times as heavy as water. Torricelli made a mercury barometer and proved that air has pressure and weight as the Bible says. God revealed it 3200 years earlier. 14) Winds blow in Circuits. “The wind goes toward the south, and turns about unto the north, it whirls about continually and the wind turns again according to his circuits.” (Ecclesiates 1:6). At the equator, the sun heats the air causing it to rise. In the upper atmosphere this air flows away from the equator. When the air returns to the earth’s surface, it flows across the surface. This moving surface air produces the six belts of prevailing winds around the earth. 15) Cloud Balancing. “Dost thou know the balancing of the clouds?” (Job 37:16). Clouds are floating in the air, balanced by two forces: gravity pulling them downwards, and warm air pushing them upwards. How did Job know this in 1500 BC? God told him. 16) Fountains Under the Sea. “Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea?” (Job 38:16). “When he strengthened the fountains of the deep.” (Proverbs 8:28). There are at least 10,000 underwater volcanoes, adding extra water to the oceans of 430 million tons each year. Question: How did the Bible know what takes place on the deep ocean floor? God revealed it. 17) Treasures of the Snow. “Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow?” (Job 38:22). Snow crystals are invisible to the naked eye, but under a microscope every snow crystal is different. No two snow crystals are the same. They are all beautiful six-sided patterns, just like exquisite treasures. How did the Bible know this 3300 years before the microscope was invented? God revealed it. 18) The Sun is the Source of the Earth’s Wind Systems. “By what way is the light parted, which scatters the east wind upon the earth?” (Job 38:24). Wind is caused by the uneven heating of the air around the earth by the sun. The sun also heats the surface of the earth unevenly. Air above hot areas (such as land) expands and rises. Air from cooler areas then flows in to take the place of the heated air. This is called circulation. 19) Light can be Parted or Dispersed into a Rainbow Spectrum. “By what way is the light parted (2505)?” (Job 38:24). “Parted” in Hebrew is “chalaq” which means “separated”. White light can be separated into seven colours of the spectrum which are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. This was not understood until experiments with light were performed in the 1600’s. Light is like Jesus Christ: “I am the light of the world.” (John 9:5). As light has seven colours, so Christ has the seven spirits of God. See Isaiah 11:1,2. 20) Pleiades Constellation is a Bound cluster that is not breaking up. “Can you bind the sweet influences (cluster) of Pleiades?” (Job 38:31). In 1520 BC, God said that the Pleiades star cluster is bound together in a highly stable group. Today using high powered telescopes, this has been shown to be true. It is a bound cluster of about 500 stars, 50 light years across and 410 light years away from earth. The individual stars cannot overcome the “chains” of gravity and allow them to break away from the cluster. The cluster is not expanding, not breaking up, but is bound together. This situation is very uncommon as the reverse is usually true of all open or galactic clusters. Photographs reveal that some of its stars are veiled in a faint transparent blue haze of gas and dust, which beautifully reflect the glory of the stars in the cluster with their various colours. The cluster is indeed “sweet” in colour as God said in Job 38:31. “Research compilations now suggest that about 500 stars, mostly faint, are gravitationally bound together as the Pleiades.” http://coolcosmos.ipac.caltech.edu/cosmic_classroom/multiwavelength_astronomy/multiwavelength_museum/m45.html. How did the Bible know these two details not observable to the naked eye? God wrote it. 21) Orion’s Bands are loosed. “Can you loose the bands of Orion?” (Job 38:31). The constellation of Orion is a star system that is steadily expanding outwards. The gravitational “bands” holding the constellation together have indeed been loosed, just as God told Job. Orion is 350 light years across and 1600 light years from earth. This expansion is not observable to the naked eye. Question: How could the Bible tell the difference between two star systems in 1600 BC, Pleiades being bound and Orion being loosed? Answer: God authored the Bible. 22) Laws of Physics control matter, energy and motion. God asked Job: “Knowest thou the ordinances (laws) of heaven?” (Job 38:33). Ordinances are physical laws that govern the movement of heavenly bodies, stars, planets, comets, meteors etc. Examples include:  Keplar's laws of equal areas of orbits  First and second laws of thermodynamics  Newton's law of universal gravitation  Newton's three laws of motion  Exponential radioactive decay Question: How did the Bible know that science operates on laws in 1500 BC? Answer: God wrote it. 23) Telephone Communication. “Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, here we are?” (Job 38:35). When we dial a telephone number, an electric current (lightnings or electricity as we know it) moves through a wire to our friend’s telephone, which rings a bell. He answers it saying “Hi, it’s …here.” We then have a conversation over long distance. The telephone works exactly as Job 38:35 says, yet it was invented 3400 years later by AG bell in 1876. God revealed the phone to Job in 1520 BC. 24) Sea Paths or Ocean Currents. “…whatsoever passes through the paths of the sea.” (Psalm 8:8). “Paths” in Hebrew means “customary roads.” Matthew Maury is the father of Oceanography. A statue of him is in Virginia with charts of the sea in one hand and a Bible in the other. Until Maury’s work there were no charts of sailing lanes. One day during a temporary illness, his son read from Psalm 8:8. Maury stopped him, asking him to read it again. Maury then said: “It is enough. If the Word of God says that there are paths in the sea, they must be there, and I am going to find them.” Within a few years he had charted the sea lanes & ocean currents. How did the Bible know of sea paths or ocean currents in 1000BC? 25) The Water Cycle. ‘All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from where the rivers come, there they return again.’ (Ecclesiates 1:7). Rain falls on the land, runs down the rivers into the oceans, evaporates into clouds, and is blown back to land. It rains again, thus repeating the water cycle. 26) Spherical Earth. “It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth.” (Isaiah 40:22). “when he set a compass upon the face of the depth.” (Proverbs 8:27); Circle (2329) or compass (2329) in Hebrew is “Khoog” = to describe a circle, or sphere, used of the arch of the sky (Gesenius’ Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon of the OT, p 263). In 712 BC, when Isaiah wrote, people thought the earth was flat and that you could sail over the edge of it and fall off. Columbus and Magellan proved that the earth was circular by sailing around it in a circle from East to West and then returning to their point of departure. Question: How did the Bible know that the earth was spherical? God revealed it. 27) Space/time is curved. “he walketh in the circuit (Heb: khoog = sphere,2329) of heaven.” (Job 22:14). “It is well known that the space/time continuum is curved. The curvature occurs due to the influence of mass against movement in time. Lately, this curvature has been detected.” www.west.net/~ke6jqp/spacetime/spacetime.html#curvature 28) The earth has foundations of core, mantle and crust. “And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth;” (Isaiah 51:13). 29) Space is stretched as seen by the red shift of light from receding galaxies. See Isaiah 51:13 in point 28. 30) Earth at any time is part day-time and part night. When Jesus Christ discusses the moment of His second coming to earth in Luke 17:31-36, His return interrupts people sleeping at night on one part of the earth, and interrupts others in the daytime grinding at the mill or working in the field. How did Jesus Christ know that the earth at any point of time is half daylight and half night? Because He is the all-knowing God. “In the day when the Son of Man is revealed.” (v.30). In that day…..he that is in the field (v.31). In that night there shall be two grinding together, one shall be taken, and the other left (v.35). Two men shall be in the field, the one shall be taken, and the other left.” (v.36). 31) Shadows are caused by the earth turning on its axis with respect to the sun. ‘Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.’ (James 1:17). This shows knowledge of a spherical earth turning on its axis when written in 45AD. This was unknown until Copernicus in 1543 wrote that every planet, including earth, revolves around the sun, and that the earth spins on its axis once a day. 32) The First Law of Thermodynamics states that no new matter or energy is being created in the known universe; it is only being inter-converted from one form to another. “On the seventh day God ended his work which He had made.” (Genesis 2:2). 33) The Second Law of Thermodynamics states that the disorder of the universe is increasing. Systems are running from a high energy state to a low energy state. “They (the earth and heavens) all shall wax old as doth a garment. And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail." (Hebrews 1:11,12). Scientists admit that because the sun burns up so much energy, it must become cold one day in the distant future. The same must happen to all the stars. This is called the “heat death of the universe.” Without solar heat, life on earth could not exist. Thankfully Jesus Christ is going to remake this universe into a perfect state at the end of the Millennium. Conclusion: The Bible is the Word of God for the above reasons, as well as because: 1) Jesus Christ called it the Word of God. (Mark 7:13). 2) It has infinitely superior teachings over every other book. - The Bible has nothing but truth. Other books have truth mixed with error, like jewels mixed with mud. 3) The character of those who accept and those who reject the Bible. - People best acquainted with God, living the most unselfish, moral lives, say that the Bible is God’s book. - The people least acquainted with God, and who live more for self, say that the Bible is not God’s word. Which will you believe? The stronghold of the Bible is the pure, unselfish happy home. The stronghold of unbelief is the pub, the brothel, and the casino. 4) The influence of the Bible to save, purify, gladden, beautify and lift men’s lives up to God. The Bible has transformed millions of the worst sinners into humble, loving, unselfish, and caring people. Key: Believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son, died for your sins, rose from the dead, ask Jesus to save you
  3. The Apostle Paul lived in the green-light district of the Gospel. He didn't need signs in the heavens to convince Him to obey the Scriptures. When Jesus said, "Go!" that was enough. "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them....." - Matthew 28:19,20 Many believers are unwilling to take any new risks or to stretch beyond the known comfort of the church to take the love of God to those who know nothing of it. God requires to be represented by a fiery church, or He is not in any proper sense, represented at all. God, himself, is all on fire, and his church, if it is to be like him, must also be at white heat. "The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire." Psalm 29:7 The "sound" of your Godly calling (DESTINY) should be nothing less than the driving force behind how you live your entire life. If the things to which you feel called do not require spiritual resources as well as natural labor, then perhaps you aren't fulfilling your call to its full potential. 4. Good things began to happen to David almost immediately because he started looking at his world through eyes of blessing rather than eyes of failure. Even as he overcame the lion and the bear, he knew he could overcome giants. And just as he took authority and overcame everything that threatened his ascent to the throne, you must take authority and overcome everything that threatens your ascent into your DESTINY. God changed the way Abraham talked so that he called forth what God saw him as already blessed with (Gen. 17:5). Despite the pain, call forth your healing. Change the way you talk. See the way God meant it to be, and start calling forth your healing and wholeness! "God gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did." - Romans 4:17 Regardless of what kind of prison you are in or what problem threatens to defeat you, if you want God to come into your cell, you must resist the temptation to grumble, murmur, and complain. You have to make the decision to praise Him instead. "And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them." - Acts 16:25 AFFIRMATIONS: I see myself with victory. I visualize where God wants me to be. Then, I act as if I am already there. My speech demonstrates the power of God's Spirit in my life. Whenever someone tells me that God is not going to deliver me, I just tell them "He's already delivered me in the name of Jesus." Hebrews 12:1 - "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us," The race is not one as we normally think. The Strong's definition includes contention, battle, conflict. There is a contending for the earth and the Kingdom that is now. We often wonder in the natural, "How?" We think of a race and it causes us in the natural to feel "hurry" but this is not God's way. Jesus was never in a hurry; never did He worry. Our race is contending for the Kingdom with accuracy and right timing. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. "Feed My Sheep." - John 21:17 If I love my Lord I have to FEED HIS SHEEP. There is no relief and no release from this commission. Beware of counterfeiting the love of God by working along the line of natural human sympathy. The Spirit of wisdom gives you ability that is beyond your ability. It is the creative ability to flow in the thing He is asking you to do. "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. - Ephesians 1:17 PRAYER: Lord, make me a tabernacle for Your Spirit like the tabernacle of old. Fill me with Your Shekinah glory. AFFIRMATIONS: Jesus knows my name. Jesus loves me personally. Jesus gave all for me. Jesus deserves all from me. I realize that I am put here to do the will of God on earth as it is in Heaven. I reject the expectations of the world and begin to discern the yoke that God has called me to carry. Isaiah 54:11 - "You afflicted, tossed with storms, and not comforted, look, I will set your stones in beautiful colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires." God moves on people who are willing to step away from older methods that are no longer effective and step into new strategies coming now from Heaven. God shakes things so that your foundation will be firmly established and you will be able to handle the new levels and anointing. Don't look at the storm, but keep your eyes on Jesus! Trust Him enough to let things happen without striving to predict or control them. Relax, and refresh yourself in the Light of His everlasting Love. His Love-Light never dims, yet you are often unaware of His radiant Presence. When you project yourself into the future, rehearsing what you will do or say, you are seeking to be self-sufficient: to be adequate without His help. This is a subtle sin—so common that it usually slips by unnoticed. The alternative is to live fully in the present, depending on Him each moment. Rather than fearing your inadequacy, rejoice in His abundant supply. Train your mind to seek His help continually, even when you feel competent to handle something by yourself. Don’t divide your life into things you can do by yourself and things that require My help. Instead, learn to rely on Him in every situation. This discipline will enable you to enjoy life more and to face each day confidently. "Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." - Psalm 37:3–6 "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ." - Ephesians 4:15 To those beginning their spiritual journey, God reveals Himself as Father. The picture is of a loving father embracing and reassuring his children. After knowing God as Father He goes on to reveal Himself as Warrior, "The LORD is a warrior..." (Exodus 15:3 NIV). The picture is of a warrior training recruits for battle. To those who know God as both Father and Warrior He reveals Himself as Consuming Fire, "For our God is a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:29). God is "from the beginning," that is, He is eternal. He has no beginning and no end. The picture is of an all-consuming reality (Song of Songs 8:6). When we know Him as Father, we become secure in His love. When we know Him as Warrior, we become strong in His might. When we know Him as Consuming Fire, we become one with Him in wholehearted union. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF:• Is God specifically revealing Himself to me as either Father, Warrior, or Consuming Fire? • Is there anything in you that resists knowing God as Father, Warrior, or Consuming Fire? • Are you growing in the knowledge of God or are you resisting the change He desires to bring in your life? "Rule in the midst of your enemies" - Psalm 110:2 The Lord has provided us with powerful tools to accomplish our assignment and legislate the heavens with the ability to call forth what is not as though it were. He has given us the power of the Blood, the power of His name, the power of His Word, the power of decree, the power of the Holy Spirit to bring it to pass, and angel armies assigned to God's Kingdom purposes! He has given us everything needed to rule and reign, to take and to hold ground! Circumstances may seem to be holding you back, or life situations and finances, but obedience to take your place in God's PURPOSE for your life unlocks your DESTINY and positions you for favor. It's a favor that opens the necessary doors for you to accomplish your assignment. "Of the increase of His Government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this." - Isaiah 9:7 Choosing to set yourself firmly in the place where God has called you unlocks spiritual principles that result in increase. The best days of the Church are upon us and it's a time to embrace our divine destiny. God is good and He is faithful! Let us wake up and be successful in fulfilling all He has planned! This is the hour of the fulfillment of His promises of glory and light! The people of God are beginning to "arise and shine" for our light has come! Beware of seeing yourself through other people’s eyes. There are several dangers to this practice. First of all, it is nearly impossible to discern what others actually think of you. Moreover, their views of you are variable: subject to each viewer’s spiritual, emotional, and physical condition. The major problem with letting others define you is that it borders on idolatry. Your concern to please others dampens your desire to please Him, your Creator. It is much more real to see yourself through His eyes. His gaze upon you is steady and sure, untainted by sin. Through His eyes you can see yourself as one who is deeply, eternally loved. Rest in His loving gaze, and you will receive deep Peace. Respond to His loving Presence by worshiping Him in spirit and in truth. "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." - Hebrews 11:6 “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” - John 4:23–24 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. Many believers live with the concept that God will lead them when it's time for them to do something. And so they wait, sometimes for an entire lifetime, without any significant impact on the world around them. "GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and then TEACH THESE NEW DISCIPLES........." - Matthew 28:19,20 Jesus said to the Father, “As You sent Me, Father, send them!” (John 20:21). God will empower you, just as He did Jesus, to walk out the fullness of your DESTINY, with that same unlimited anointing of the Holy Spirit! Jesus said to Peter -- "Feed My sheep." You have to be the nourishment for other souls until they learn to feed on God. We owe it to God to be our best for His lambs and His sheep as well as for Himself (discipleship). AFFIRMATIONS: I arise and shine for my Light has come. He has raised me up with Jesus and seated me in heavenly places. He has given me His name. His Blood, His Authority. His Power. His Spirit. I have the power to labor for the spiritual lives of others. Hebrews 2:1,4 - "For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will." We are stepping into a powerful and fruitful time in the Lord -- a time to flourish from the oil of the Holy Spirit and deep revelation knowledge of the word. God wants to bear witness through us, to testify about who Jesus is with signs, wonders, miracles, and grace gifts according to His will (Hebrews 2:4). God wills all of that, not in word only, but also in a demonstration (see 1 Corinthians 2:4). We have access to that highway to demonstrate the gospel of power. Your life can be a display of the mighty works of Goda display of rivers of revelation, wisdom, and healing for harvest. The mighty workings of the Lord through our lives are from the unseen source of the river of the Holy Spirit. A constant supply of His presence, power, gifts, and rivers is flowing through you. God wants you to go after the anointing of His power, not only forhealing, but also for signs and wonders. The release of Christ's works empowers you for harvest. You're redeemed, and you have Christ living in you, the hope of glory! His final statement just before He ascended into heaven was: 'Surely I am with you always." That promise was for all of His followers, without exception. The promise of His Presence is a powerful protection. As you journey through your life, there are numerous pitfalls along the way. Many voices clamor for your attention, enticing you to go their way. A few steps away from your true path are pits of self-pity and despair, plateaus of pride and self-will. If you take your eyes off Him and follow another’s way, you are in grave danger. Even well-meaning friends can lead you astray if you let them usurp His place in your life. The way to stay on the path of Life is to keep your focus on Him. Awareness of My Presence is your best protection. “And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:20 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." - Hebrews 12:1–2 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. When you discover who you are in Christ, you begin to measure your life and ministry by Jesus' model. You begin to want what He wants for the same reason He wants it. One religious mindset that many Christians can be guilty of -- we are trying to change our old nature (old man) and improve ourselves. We fail to realize that Jesus never came to do that. Jesus crucified the old man so that by faith, we can walk in the new man who is already created in righteousness and holiness. "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." - Galatians 2:20 Plead God's relationship to us. We are God's children, and we have the right to appeal to Him on that basis. AFFIRMATIONS: Jesus calls me to a higher love, to embrace the burning and passionate heart of God. I am renewed in the spirit of my mind: and I put on the new man, which after God has created in righteousness and true holiness. Since God rules in my heart and Jesus is Lord of my life, the Kingdom of God continually flows out of me and takes control over the things coming against me. It is imperative that we all take a strong stand. We must make up our minds to not continue to stumble about in the confusion that seems to gridlock today's culture. Rather, we must walk with God-given goals and aims anddiscerning His divine PURPOSE for our life. We're not to be vague, thoughtless, and distracted during these days. We can and must discover great guidance and guidelines for living day by day, advancing in the knowledge of His CALLING on our life, possessing the wisdom that God is offering to us. Paul, in Ephesians 5:15-17, offers the Church a most severe warning: "Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is" (AMP). Come to Him with your defenses down, ready to be blessed and filled with His Presence. Relax, and feel the relief of being totally open and authentic with Him. You have nothing to hide and nothing to disclose because He knows everything about you already. You can have no other relationship like this one. Take time to savor its richness, basking in His golden Light. One of the worst consequences of the Fall is the elaborate barriers people erect between themselves and others. Facades abound in the world, even in His Body, the church. Sometimes, church is the last place where people feel free to be themselves. They cover up with Sunday clothes and Sunday smiles. They feel relief when they leave because of the strain of false fellowship. The best antidote to this artificial atmosphere is practicing His Presence at church. Let your primary focus be communing with Him, worshiping Him, glorifying Him. Then you will be able to smile at others with My Joy and love them with His Love. "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him, there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." - 1 John 1:5–7 "The Lord replied, 'My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.'” - Exodus 33:14 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable…think about such things…" - Philippians 4:8 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. Since the moment we first came to Christ, there has been an updraft of the Holy Spirit, a constant drawing from God lifting us upward toward the fullness of His Presence. Let's surrender to this wind of God and allow Him to carry us into our holy future (our DESTINY). The disciples did not just pray and sit around waiting for God to enter the "playing field" to convert the world on His own. They went out into the world so that the Holy Spirit might go into the World. "The Lord worked with them." - Mark 16:20 Times of difficulty give us an opportunity we don't have otherwise, and that is the opportunity to demonstrate sacrificial love to Him by ministering to him instead of attending to our pressing needs. This is what makes strengthening yourself in the Lord completely opposed to self-sufficiency. "Strengthen me according to thy word...I have chosen the way of faithfulness." - Psalm 119:28,30 AFFIRMATIONS: I am not designed to drift - I am designed for destiny. The Lord wants me to rooted in Him, not rooted in my idea about Him. Jesus calls me to a higher love, to embrace the burning and passionate heart of God. It is time to set every part of your being in alignment with God's purpose for your life -- to establish His Kingdom on the earth. God honors His Word above His name (see Psalm 138:2), so proclaim His Word, declare it into the atmosphere and the angels will respond and perform it! Our words will seed the atmosphere and the Lord will send His angels to perform it! He promises us His Word will not return void (see Isaiah 55:11). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. I have this friend and we've been really good friends for years now. Except she started falling down a bad path and I continued seeking Jesus. Well now she feels like she can't be redeemed and because her desires in her heart are to quit smoking and drinking that she knows she will continue to do it since she's tried so many times to stop. How do i help her without putting her down? I don't want her to feel like I'm trying to be better than her because I sin too just in different areas. Is it wrong of me to tell her to just pray about it and not worry about trying to change because God will do that in you if you ask and pray about it? Thank you for your help
  11. God is here with his divine purpose to change our weakness into mighty strength and faith. The Word of God! Have you got it? It is marrow to your bones. It is unction. It is resurrection from every weakness. It is life from the dead. "See that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be not unwise, but understand what the will of God is." - Ephesians 5:15-17 You know there are things you are doing now that are temporary. You are doing them only until you find the thing God wants you to do, the real work you were meant to do. When the fire reaches your core, you will trash all the vestiges of harmless, powerless living. "One Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things." - 1 Corinthians 8:6 You have to come to the place where you believe Him to be Almighty. Faith in Jesus Himself; if we only look at what He says we shall never believe. When once we see Jesus, He does the impossible. Your starting point for spiritual maturity begins when you desire to do "all that Jesus began both to do and teach." (Acts 1:1) AFFIRMATIONS: Since I am in Christ I am in another reality and another life altogether. As I abide in the Word, it becomes "quick" or "alive" in my spirit and in my life. I persist in prayer with God until the substance of God's Kingdom is not merely a doctrine but a functional reality in my life. Philippians 4:13 - "I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]...” AMP This is the gloriousmind-set of an overcomer. You will be focused and strengthened; you will not be distracted. You will be deliberate and resistance will not stop you or cause you to doubt. You will release a shout that will bring down the mountain because His knowledge is established and set in -- set in you! What a mighty anointing to have! The anointing for the revelation that brings impartation, which grants you access and brings about demonstration! This is a place of "YES!” in your spirit. This is a holy, empowered position from which one engages a divine inner strength and surety without pride, but with holy confidence and boldness in the Holy Spirit. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. Acts 14:3 - "Therefore they stayed there a long time speaking boldly in the Lord who was bearing witness to the word of His grace granting signs and wonders done by their hands." There has to be a demonstration of this King we serve. The evidence of His resurrection is in the power of your words and the power of the actions that follow your words. Throughout the book of Acts it says, "They spoke boldly and God confirmed the situation and confirmed the Word." That boldness actually draws God into a situation. He is looking for courageous words to bring Him into a situation. STORIES OF COURAGE EMBOLDEN OUR FAITH Testimonies strip off the baggage of disappointments that have accumulated in our lives that have nothing to do with the Kingdom of God. We step into our DESTINY and the anointing so that nothing is impossible for us. The supernatural introduces us to God's PURPOSE for our life. The stories impart supernatural courage. That is why the enemy tries to discourage talking about the miracles and declarations of what God has done. THE COLD AND COMPLACENT There are those who are backslidden in their heart. They are cold, they are complacent -- they don't have a passion for God. They know enough religious routine to be at the right services, they know what tithing is all about, they know what to do as far as moral standards go -- but they are so far removed from the divine PURPOSE of God in their life that they are hiding in effect in the back pews of churches. They are waiting to hear real stories of actual events that demonstrate the power of the scriptures. That is why testimonies are so important. The testimonies draw people into a sense of God's PURPOSE in their lives. They give boldness and courage where there was previously only complacency. HEAVEN IS WATCHING Hebrews 12:1 -- "With so many witnesses in a great cloud on every side of us, we too, then, should throw off everything that hinders us....and keep running with perseverance the race that lies before us." So we have a cloud of witnesses that are waiting to see if we will actually discover the momentum of prior generations that stood in the face of absolute adversity and adverse circumstances and conflict in body, in soul and in spirit. COURAGE IS FOR EVERY DAY God is releasing a supernatural courage in the earth right now. It is time for courage to enable us to live a sword that never leaves our hands again -- it never gets put on the mantle. Every day is a day of conquest -- every day is a day for King Jesus to be glorified -- it is called courage. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. One of the unique things about the Church of the New Covenant is that God has authorized and commanded every believer to do the work of the ministry! God wants an entire army of workers out doing the vital work of DISCIPLESHIP of the saints and building up His Body, the Church. "Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord." - 2 Timothy 1:2 As a father cares for his child, so our Father in Heaven cares for us. As we reflect the Father's heart, we will have that same care and love for those who surround us. When we take ownership of the family of God there is another measure of grace that is released in our hearts to DISCIPLE and help others to be who they are in Christ. EQUIPPING NEW BELIEVERS TO DISCIPLE OTHERS Many churches are so focused on the salvation message that they fail to feed and help mature the sheep who have already come to salvation. Believers should be equipped to DISCIPLE the new believers so they will be effective in personal ministry. "My children with who I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you.." - Galatians 4:19 The true success of our ministry to others will be by how it brought forth the formation of Christ within the person God has given us to DISCIPLE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  14. "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you...." - 2 Timothy 1:6 God didn't save and deliver you so you could preserve His gift in a sealed jar and live life as usual. It's time for you to go deep once again. It's time for you to put yourself out, to be brave, courageous and vulnerable, and to let down your nets! Let down your guards! Let down your pride! Let down your vanity! Lay it all down. Be encouraged! The harvest is ripe and ready. All you must do is heed the voice of the Master! What is He telling you to do today, right here and right now? Look at those things over which you have lost your vision. Ask Him to bring resurrection life back into those dead places and renew your vision for your own DESTINY. "There were many bones in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And the Lord said unto me, 'prophesy upon these bones and say unto them, Behold I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.'" - Ezekiel 37: 2,4,5 We as believers need to press into God; pray and begin to believe God for a fresh wind of prophetic revelation that will impact faith and vision. AFFIRMATIONS: Today I ask God for new passion, new fire, and the gift of Holy hunger. The way I loose the Spirit of God into my life is through my words -- through my right speaking. Because God is with me the battle I am in will soon become a meal to me, an experience that will nourish and build me up spiritually. To live in His Presence consistently, you must expose and expel your rebellious tendencies. When something interferes with your plans or desires, you tend to resent the interference. Try to become aware of each resentment, however petty it may seem. Don’t push those unpleasant feelings down; instead, let them come to the surface where you can deal with them. Ask the Holy Spirit to increase your awareness of resentful feelings. Bring them boldly into the Light of His Presence, so that He can free you from them. The best response to losses or thwarted hopes is praise. Remember that all good things—your possessions, yourfamily and friends, your health and abilities, your time—are gifts from Him. Instead of feeling entitled to all these blessings, respond to them with gratitude. Be prepared to let go of anything He takes from you, but never let go of His hand! "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." - Psalm 139:23–24 "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time." - 1 Peter 5:6 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. "May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and love of God, and the fellowship (communion) of the Holy Spirit be with you all." - 2 Corinthians 13:14 Prayer is when you turn away from the world and are preoccupied with the "things of God." The Greek word "Koinonia" (fellowship, communion) is when you turn away from the "things of God" and are preoccupied with God Himself. As we go inward in growing communion with Him, we learn how to call forth the living water within us and release it in an outward flood that transforms lives. PRAYER IS LOVE To love God is to seek His presence, to seek intimacy and union. (We do not love God if we do not want to spend time with Him.) Love is also communication. (We do not love God if we do not want to talk with Him and get to know Him better.) Do you desire that Christ should dwell in your heart by faith? "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." - Revelation 3:20 QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF: How do my earthly relationships reflect my relationship with God? What do they reveal about how I am treating Him? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  16. They are not, and have never been, in the Jewish canon. Josephus explicitly excluded them from his list. Philo (20 B.C.-50 A.D.) neither mentions or quotes them. They were never quoted or alluded to by Jesus Christ or any of the apostles. The sermapocryphal events. Jewish scholars meeting at the Council of Jabneh did not recognize them. Most Church Fathers in fact rejected them. None of the Apocrypha claim inspiration or divine authority. Many of the Apocryphal books contain historical, geographical, and chronological errors. Many of the Apocryphal books teach heresy, contrary to the Word of God. Their literary style is legendary and fantasy. Some stories are grotesque and demonic. They lack the power and distinctive elements of the Word of God. The sermons in the Book of Acts, which outline Jewish history, do not included apocryphal events. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, St. Jerome was hesitant to include most of the apocryphal books in the canon, due to numerous errors. Even after he did concede to include them (in the fourth century), they were not decreed to be inspired scripture until April 8, 1546 at the Council of Trent. So for 1100 years, they were part of the canon, but not officially scripture. The reason for this is again, because of the numerous errors.... ...It appears they were ultimately accepted at Trent, because without doing so, the Catholic Church had no scripture upon which to base the doctrine of purgatory, invocation and intercession of the saints, the worship of angels, the redemption of souls after death, etc. In fact, if you'll look at the Catholic Encyclopedia, you'll find discussion of "problems" or "errors" with most of the apocryphal books. Judith falsely states that Nebuchadnezzar reigns over the Assyrians, whereas he ruled Babylon instead.Torbit could not have witnessed the division of Israel into the northern and southern kingdoms in 931BC(Tor1:4),and have been deported 200 years later in 734BC(Tor1:10). Tobit 4:11 and Tobit 12:9 state that giving money forgives sins. This contradicts Christs' work on the cross. Jesus and the apostles quote 260 times from the 35 out of 39 OT books, yet they NEVER quoted the apocrypha. Jerome rejected the Deuterocanonical books when he was translating the Bible into Latin circa 450 CE, (see the Vulgate). This was because no Hebrew version of these texts could be found, even though they were present in the Greek Old Testament (the Septuagint). However, they eventually were accepted by the Church, and most of them remained part of the Bible. Protestants rejected these books during the Reformation as lacking divine authority. They either excised them completely or placed them in a third section of the Bible. The Roman Catholic Council of Trent, on the other hand, declared in 1546 that the Deuterocanonical books were indeed divine. Neither their authors nor the circumstances of their writings are known. The Jews nor the early Christians accepted them as inspired scripture. The books themselves dont claim inspiration. There's no"Thus saith the Lord"'s .Although the N.T has 263 direct quotes from and 370 allusions to the O.T,there's not a single reference to the books of the apocrypha. It was at Trent,Ap.8th1546,that the pope declared tradition+the apocrypha to be canonical and authoritative. Though these books were considered non-canonical, slowly over the years they came to be regarded by the Roman Catholic Church as part of the Bible, and were finally officially labeled as such. But the Historical Hebrew Religion, and the Historical Christian Religion growing from it, understood that these writings were non-canonical. 1. Sirach 3:3-“He who honors his father atones for sins:” Galatians 2:16,21-“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness came by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” Galatians 3:11-“But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, the just shall live by faith.” 2. Tobit 12:8,9-“Prayer and fasting are good, but better than either is almsgiving accompanied by righteousness. A little with righteousness is better than abundance with wickedness. It is better to give alms than store up gold for almsgiving saves one from death and expiates sin.” I John 1:7-“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Hebrews 9:22-“And almost all things are by the law purged by blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”
  17. He has called us not to "wonder about the future," but to create it through the knowledge of His living Word and prayer! What our Father gives is access to the future right now. To bring manifestation is to pray and believe for the reality of God's Kingdom to manifest on earth. "Pray, then, in this way:.......on earth as it is in Heaven." - Matthew 6:9,10 Christ pours the limitless oil of the anointing in us so that we can shine and burn continually and perpetually with the glory and love of the Lord to the world. There's no limitation for the workings of Jesus through you because He's constantly pouring His workings in you, the rich oil of His anointing for harvest. The ministry of the Christian is the ministry of the Spirit. Other men have intellectuality, but the Christian is supposed to be the possessor of the Spirit. The road to true intimacy with God is an inward journey, proceeding into His Presence through the entrance gate of quietness of the soul. "Be still and know that I am God...." Psalm 46:10 AFFIRMATIONS: I am called to walk the earth, do good on the earth, and to do it in the power of the Holy Spirit. While I am called to do good works, and help people practically, my primary calling is to inspire people to seek God. I persist day by day, and week by week, until I have drawn near enough to God that I can hear His voice. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  18. Why are we so lackadaisical in our search for God? One possible answer is that we have yet to experience the beauty and power of God's manifest presence. Therefore, we don't understand that the reward of our seeking is worth every bit of our effort, and more. "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple." - Psalm 27:4 Those who abide in Jesus know the anointing and will flow in it (John 15). We plug in through intimacy, fellowship, and communion with Him. In so doing, our roots grow deep and so we become deeply rooted in Him. God loves using ordinary, everyday people. We become contagious carriers of the anointing from God Himself that propels you into action. This true supernatural flow of the Holy Spirit gives you an insight into another's need and it enables you to understand their hurts, pain, needs, and heartache. Are you willing to spend and be spent; not seeking to be ministered unto, but to minister? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  19. We don't have to become disheartened because of our weakness, because our weakness is not an obstacle; God's might will perfect strength out of weakness. "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong." - 2 Corinthians 12:10 We must pray in order to grow. Becoming saints is the meaning of life. It is why we exist. When you meditate, imagine that Jesus Christ in person is about to talk to you about the most important thing in the world, Give Him your complete attention. AFFIRMATIONS:The revelation and impartation of the Word, which I hear and receive, will find both expression and fulfillment through me! God has called me with a holy calling, not according to my works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to me in Christ Jesus before the world began. I exhort others into Kingdom realities. God doesn't call us to earn money but to change lives (DISCIPLE others). If we will remain concerned about lives and doing the will of God, He will take care of the finances. May we crave His presence increasingly and take it to a dying world. May we be so infused with Him, such a conduit for Him, that people are forever changed wherever we go. May others see Him and sense Him in us, and desire His great salvation. In Mark 4:35-41, we see Jesus giving the disciples an opportunity to step into storm-silencing dominion power and divine authority, but they do not quite get it at first. He responds to their call for help by mentoring and modeling how to silence a storm. What we see is that when a storm kicked up, the disciples forgot the word they had from the Lord that they were to go to "the other side" (Mark 4:35), and instead of overcoming the resistance of the storm they allowed themselves to be overcome by it. Jesus knew the word He had given them was true and certain – no matter what (the word of the Lord always is). He also knew that the disciples were able to handle any storm or resistance. But when the disciples did not step into the authority they had been given by Him as His agents in the earth, Jesus did what He always does – He came to the rescue! Not only does He save them but in the saving He also reminds them of the dominion steward power that is available to every "son" of God in the earth if we simply believe (Romans 8:29, Mark 9:23). What Jesus shows them then – and each of us right now – is how to silence any storm that would attempt to interrupt, delay or interfere with a promise of God. The simple steps are this: (1)Trust and (2) rest in the Word of the Lord (Mark 4:35, 39). Know that He is always with you and empowering you, even in the midst of a severe storm He is right there with you (Mark 4:36). Do not take any storm lying down, but instead stand up to the storms sent against you, your promises, your family, your city, nation or world (Mark 4:39). Speak to the storm and command it to "be still!" Do this until you see the storm obey and bow – because it must (Mark 4:41, John 14:12). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  20. One of the dimensions of living the way of Christ, besides living a life of love, forgiveness, and service is embracing the spirituality of DOWNWARD MOBILITY. This is a willingness to modify our career, change our location, or whatever other sacrifices we are called to make, for the sake of following Christ's purpose for our life (our destiny). Jesus came so that His Blood may cover our sins. His grace and mercy overflow to us so that we may be all that He has created us to be. He is determined to help us find our destiny into His perfect plan for us. His grace has made it possible for us to see our destinies fulfilled. SEIZING OUR DESTINY Nothing takes the place of stepping out of your comfort zone and out on the limb. Faith is always spelled R-I-S-K! In order to seize your destiny -- step out, God's not only good, He will catch you if you fall and help you to get up and try again! Don’t worry about the people in your past, for the Lord placed them there. He has an important reason why they won’t appear in your future. "Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14 Are we willing to spend and be spent; not seeking to be ministered unto, but to minister? 21. We as kings and priests in God's kingdom are the anointed ones, the sons and daughters of fresh oil, endued with gifts of power, strength, and grace to enable us to accomplish the work we're called to (our DESTINY). If you allow the conditions of life to dictate your level of worship, they will also determine and limit your altitude. "Those whose wait on the Lord....shall mount up with wings like eagles." - Isaiah 40:31 The purity God requires from us is impossible for us. We must allow Him to produce it in us. Purity produces in us godliness when we consistently sit at the feet of Jesus. "...beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into His likeness ....." - 2 Corinthians 3:18 Pay no attention to the present affairs of your life -- Seek to un-busy your thoughts -- Behold Him in the most inward recess of your spirit that you can find. AFFIRMATIONS:I start thinking outside myself and inside the Word -- and let Jesus bless the world through me! When I have the Word of God deposited in my spirit, I'll act on it no matter what the circumstances. As I keep pushing out the limits and going further in my effort to advance the purposes of God, I am taking my life to a higher level. Isaiah 61: 1, 2-- is a familiar passage, yet ever-powerful -- in order to understand more about wielding our God-given authority in the power of His might. "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor...." There is an anointing available to us to proclaim, prophesy, decree, and declare a season of favor! What's more, the impact of this anointing really comes into position once we come to understand what it means to be a servant of the Lord. Being God's servant means there is an authority available to us under or in the anointing, that in the moment we decree "favor" over someone's life they have to come into favor! It'sunder the province of an open heaven, when there's a realm of the spirit, that we can make decrees that change destinies through the spoken word. No matter what your circumstances may be, you can find Joy in His Presence. On some days Joy is generously strewn along your life-path, glistening in the sunlight. On days like that, being content is as simple as breathing the next breath or taking the next step. Other days are overcast and gloomy; you feel the strain of the journey, which seems endless. Dull gray rocks greet your gaze and cause your feet to ache. Yet Joy is still attainable. Search for it as for hidden treasure. Begin by remembering that He has created this day; it is not a chance occurrence. Recall that He is present with you whether you sense His Presence or not. Then, start talking with Him about whatever is on your mind. Rejoice in the fact that He understands you perfectly, and that He knows exactly what you are experiencing. As you continue communing with Him, your mood will gradually lighten. Awareness of His marvelous Companionship can infuse Joy into the grayest day. "Surely you have granted him eternal blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence." - Psalm 21:6"And if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure." - Proverbs 2:4 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

  23. When the Lord Jesus was on the cross, He had authority to come down if He so wished. By the same token, those who are crucified with the Lord can let their old man come down from the cross if they so choose. The best warfare to engage in against the devil is to magnify the Lord Jesus in your life. The Bible declares, "Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered..." Psalm 68:1. Worship is the spiritual equivalent of the power of magnification. When you begin to worship, you ascend to join the Object of your adoration. If you are soaring in His presence, then you are looking down on your problems. "Oh, magnify the Lord with me." - Psalm 34:3 If we would pray more for others, promote what God is doing through others rather than ourselves, then the Lord would begin to promote us. 24. Faith is released by speaking words. Jesus encouraged us to speak to mountains or to whatever our problem is. "...For assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain..." - Matthew 17:20 You don't need to use your faith for every single need in life. You need to use your faith to believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, and it will cause all the blessing you seek to come after you and overtake you. (2 Corinthians 5:21) God wants you to know you are His very intention! He has destined you for this very moment! Every believer in Christ Jesus can live in the perpetual continuous flow of the Holy Spirit daily in their life, for we've all been given the blessing and authority to tap into the root of continuous oil. That root is Jesus! "You, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them become a partaker of the root and of the fatness of the olive tree." - Romans 11:17 AFFIRMATIONS: I dominate my mind and my body with my spirit since I maintain my spirit properly -- feeding, strengthening, and dominating my inner man with the Word. There may be some things in my life that I need to curse because those things are hindering me from bearing fruit for the Kingdom of God. 2 Corinthians 5:7, "For we walk by faith, not by sight." Hebrews 11:1 gives the definition of faith, "Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen" (The Passion Translation). If we look at Abraham as an example, walking by faith requires you to go to a place you do not know, one that God will reveal as you walk in obedience (Genesis 12:1). On the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are to step out in obedience and use the keys and pieces we have been given, knowing that others will arrive at the time we need them. Lie down in green pastures of Peace. Learn to unwind whenever possible, resting in the Presence of your Shepherd. In this electronic age, believers stay “wired” much of the time, too tense to find Him in the midst of their moments. He built into your very being the need for rest. How twisted the world has become when people feel guilty about meeting this basic need! How much time and energy they waste by being always on the go, rather than taking time to seek His direction for their lives. He has called you to walk with Him down paths of Peace. He wants you to blaze a trail for others who desire to live in His peaceful Presence. He has chosen you less for your strengths than for your weaknesses, which amplify your need for Him. Depend on Him more and more, and He will shower Peace on all your paths. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake." - Psalm 23:1–3 “To shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.” -Luke 1:79 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  25. "The Lord worked with them." - Mark 16:20 God plants His purpose in our lives in the epicenter of our heart and it will fuel new exploits in our lives. The first step to getting out of the box is to fellowship with the God of the breakthrough. The Holy Spirit will charge you with fresh vision and boldness. Breakthrough is found in our private devotion and personal pursuit of God when no one is watching. If you are in need of breakthrough, make it a point to "return to the stronghold" and watch what the God of the Breakthrough does for you. When He breaks open, we break out. "Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you" (Zechariah 9:12). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
