  1. Good things began to happen to David almost immediately because he started looking at his world through eyes of blessing rather than eyes of failure. Even as he overcame the lion and the bear, he knew he could overcome giants. And just as he took authority and overcame everything that threatened his ascent to the throne, you must take authority and overcome everything that threatens your ascent into your DESTINY. God changed the way Abraham talked so that he called forth what God saw him as already blessed with (Gen. 17:5). Despite the pain, call forth your healing. Change the way you talk. See the way God meant it to be, and start calling forth your healing and wholeness! "God gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did." - Romans 4:17 Regardless of what kind of prison you are in or what problem threatens to defeat you, if you want God to come into your cell, you must resist the temptation to grumble, murmur, and complain. You have to make the decision to praise Him instead. "And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them." - Acts 16:25 AFFIRMATIONS: I see myself with victory. I visualize where God wants me to be. Then, I act as if I am already there. My speech demonstrates the power of God's Spirit in my life. Whenever someone tells me that God is not going to deliver me, I just tell them "He's already delivered me in the name of Jesus." Hebrews 12:1 - "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us," The race is not one as we normally think. The Strong's definition includes contention, battle, conflict. There is a contending for the earth and the Kingdom that is now. We often wonder in the natural, "How?" We think of a race and it causes us in the natural to feel "hurry" but this is not God's way. Jesus was never in a hurry; never did He worry. Our race is contending for the Kingdom with accuracy and right timing. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. Many believers live with the concept that God will lead them when it's time for them to do something. And so they wait, sometimes for an entire lifetime, without any significant impact on the world around them. "GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and then TEACH THESE NEW DISCIPLES........." - Matthew 28:19,20 Jesus said to the Father, “As You sent Me, Father, send them!” (John 20:21). God will empower you, just as He did Jesus, to walk out the fullness of your DESTINY, with that same unlimited anointing of the Holy Spirit! Jesus said to Peter -- "Feed My sheep." You have to be the nourishment for other souls until they learn to feed on God. We owe it to God to be our best for His lambs and His sheep as well as for Himself (discipleship). AFFIRMATIONS: I arise and shine for my Light has come. He has raised me up with Jesus and seated me in heavenly places. He has given me His name. His Blood, His Authority. His Power. His Spirit. I have the power to labor for the spiritual lives of others. Hebrews 2:1,4 - "For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will." We are stepping into a powerful and fruitful time in the Lord -- a time to flourish from the oil of the Holy Spirit and deep revelation knowledge of the word. God wants to bear witness through us, to testify about who Jesus is with signs, wonders, miracles, and grace gifts according to His will (Hebrews 2:4). God wills all of that, not in word only, but also in a demonstration (see 1 Corinthians 2:4). We have access to that highway to demonstrate the gospel of power. Your life can be a display of the mighty works of Goda display of rivers of revelation, wisdom, and healing for harvest. The mighty workings of the Lord through our lives are from the unseen source of the river of the Holy Spirit. A constant supply of His presence, power, gifts, and rivers is flowing through you. God wants you to go after the anointing of His power, not only forhealing, but also for signs and wonders. The release of Christ's works empowers you for harvest. You're redeemed, and you have Christ living in you, the hope of glory! His final statement just before He ascended into heaven was: 'Surely I am with you always." That promise was for all of His followers, without exception. The promise of His Presence is a powerful protection. As you journey through your life, there are numerous pitfalls along the way. Many voices clamor for your attention, enticing you to go their way. A few steps away from your true path are pits of self-pity and despair, plateaus of pride and self-will. If you take your eyes off Him and follow another’s way, you are in grave danger. Even well-meaning friends can lead you astray if you let them usurp His place in your life. The way to stay on the path of Life is to keep your focus on Him. Awareness of My Presence is your best protection. “And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:20 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." - Hebrews 12:1–2 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. God is here with his divine purpose to change our weakness into mighty strength and faith. The Word of God! Have you got it? It is marrow to your bones. It is unction. It is resurrection from every weakness. It is life from the dead. "See that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be not unwise, but understand what the will of God is." - Ephesians 5:15-17 You know there are things you are doing now that are temporary. You are doing them only until you find the thing God wants you to do, the real work you were meant to do. When the fire reaches your core, you will trash all the vestiges of harmless, powerless living. "One Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things." - 1 Corinthians 8:6 You have to come to the place where you believe Him to be Almighty. Faith in Jesus Himself; if we only look at what He says we shall never believe. When once we see Jesus, He does the impossible. Your starting point for spiritual maturity begins when you desire to do "all that Jesus began both to do and teach." (Acts 1:1) AFFIRMATIONS: Since I am in Christ I am in another reality and another life altogether. As I abide in the Word, it becomes "quick" or "alive" in my spirit and in my life. I persist in prayer with God until the substance of God's Kingdom is not merely a doctrine but a functional reality in my life. Philippians 4:13 - "I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]...” AMP This is the gloriousmind-set of an overcomer. You will be focused and strengthened; you will not be distracted. You will be deliberate and resistance will not stop you or cause you to doubt. You will release a shout that will bring down the mountain because His knowledge is established and set in -- set in you! What a mighty anointing to have! The anointing for the revelation that brings impartation, which grants you access and brings about demonstration! This is a place of "YES!” in your spirit. This is a holy, empowered position from which one engages a divine inner strength and surety without pride, but with holy confidence and boldness in the Holy Spirit. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. Acts 14:3 - "Therefore they stayed there a long time speaking boldly in the Lord who was bearing witness to the word of His grace granting signs and wonders done by their hands." There has to be a demonstration of this King we serve. The evidence of His resurrection is in the power of your words and the power of the actions that follow your words. Throughout the book of Acts it says, "They spoke boldly and God confirmed the situation and confirmed the Word." That boldness actually draws God into a situation. He is looking for courageous words to bring Him into a situation. STORIES OF COURAGE EMBOLDEN OUR FAITH Testimonies strip off the baggage of disappointments that have accumulated in our lives that have nothing to do with the Kingdom of God. We step into our DESTINY and the anointing so that nothing is impossible for us. The supernatural introduces us to God's PURPOSE for our life. The stories impart supernatural courage. That is why the enemy tries to discourage talking about the miracles and declarations of what God has done. THE COLD AND COMPLACENT There are those who are backslidden in their heart. They are cold, they are complacent -- they don't have a passion for God. They know enough religious routine to be at the right services, they know what tithing is all about, they know what to do as far as moral standards go -- but they are so far removed from the divine PURPOSE of God in their life that they are hiding in effect in the back pews of churches. They are waiting to hear real stories of actual events that demonstrate the power of the scriptures. That is why testimonies are so important. The testimonies draw people into a sense of God's PURPOSE in their lives. They give boldness and courage where there was previously only complacency. HEAVEN IS WATCHING Hebrews 12:1 -- "With so many witnesses in a great cloud on every side of us, we too, then, should throw off everything that hinders us....and keep running with perseverance the race that lies before us." So we have a cloud of witnesses that are waiting to see if we will actually discover the momentum of prior generations that stood in the face of absolute adversity and adverse circumstances and conflict in body, in soul and in spirit. COURAGE IS FOR EVERY DAY God is releasing a supernatural courage in the earth right now. It is time for courage to enable us to live a sword that never leaves our hands again -- it never gets put on the mantle. Every day is a day of conquest -- every day is a day for King Jesus to be glorified -- it is called courage. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you...." - 2 Timothy 1:6 God didn't save and deliver you so you could preserve His gift in a sealed jar and live life as usual. It's time for you to go deep once again. It's time for you to put yourself out, to be brave, courageous and vulnerable, and to let down your nets! Let down your guards! Let down your pride! Let down your vanity! Lay it all down. Be encouraged! The harvest is ripe and ready. All you must do is heed the voice of the Master! What is He telling you to do today, right here and right now? Look at those things over which you have lost your vision. Ask Him to bring resurrection life back into those dead places and renew your vision for your own DESTINY. "There were many bones in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And the Lord said unto me, 'prophesy upon these bones and say unto them, Behold I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.'" - Ezekiel 37: 2,4,5 We as believers need to press into God; pray and begin to believe God for a fresh wind of prophetic revelation that will impact faith and vision. AFFIRMATIONS: Today I ask God for new passion, new fire, and the gift of Holy hunger. The way I loose the Spirit of God into my life is through my words -- through my right speaking. Because God is with me the battle I am in will soon become a meal to me, an experience that will nourish and build me up spiritually. To live in His Presence consistently, you must expose and expel your rebellious tendencies. When something interferes with your plans or desires, you tend to resent the interference. Try to become aware of each resentment, however petty it may seem. Don’t push those unpleasant feelings down; instead, let them come to the surface where you can deal with them. Ask the Holy Spirit to increase your awareness of resentful feelings. Bring them boldly into the Light of His Presence, so that He can free you from them. The best response to losses or thwarted hopes is praise. Remember that all good things—your possessions, yourfamily and friends, your health and abilities, your time—are gifts from Him. Instead of feeling entitled to all these blessings, respond to them with gratitude. Be prepared to let go of anything He takes from you, but never let go of His hand! "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." - Psalm 139:23–24 "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time." - 1 Peter 5:6 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. "May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and love of God, and the fellowship (communion) of the Holy Spirit be with you all." - 2 Corinthians 13:14 Prayer is when you turn away from the world and are preoccupied with the "things of God." The Greek word "Koinonia" (fellowship, communion) is when you turn away from the "things of God" and are preoccupied with God Himself. As we go inward in growing communion with Him, we learn how to call forth the living water within us and release it in an outward flood that transforms lives. PRAYER IS LOVE To love God is to seek His presence, to seek intimacy and union. (We do not love God if we do not want to spend time with Him.) Love is also communication. (We do not love God if we do not want to talk with Him and get to know Him better.) Do you desire that Christ should dwell in your heart by faith? "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." - Revelation 3:20 QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF: How do my earthly relationships reflect my relationship with God? What do they reveal about how I am treating Him? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. Why are we so lackadaisical in our search for God? One possible answer is that we have yet to experience the beauty and power of God's manifest presence. Therefore, we don't understand that the reward of our seeking is worth every bit of our effort, and more. "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple." - Psalm 27:4 Those who abide in Jesus know the anointing and will flow in it (John 15). We plug in through intimacy, fellowship, and communion with Him. In so doing, our roots grow deep and so we become deeply rooted in Him. God loves using ordinary, everyday people. We become contagious carriers of the anointing from God Himself that propels you into action. This true supernatural flow of the Holy Spirit gives you an insight into another's need and it enables you to understand their hurts, pain, needs, and heartache. Are you willing to spend and be spent; not seeking to be ministered unto, but to minister? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. One of the dimensions of living the way of Christ, besides living a life of love, forgiveness, and service is embracing the spirituality of DOWNWARD MOBILITY. This is a willingness to modify our career, change our location, or whatever other sacrifices we are called to make, for the sake of following Christ's purpose for our life (our destiny). Jesus came so that His Blood may cover our sins. His grace and mercy overflow to us so that we may be all that He has created us to be. He is determined to help us find our destiny into His perfect plan for us. His grace has made it possible for us to see our destinies fulfilled. SEIZING OUR DESTINY Nothing takes the place of stepping out of your comfort zone and out on the limb. Faith is always spelled R-I-S-K! In order to seize your destiny -- step out, God's not only good, He will catch you if you fall and help you to get up and try again! Don’t worry about the people in your past, for the Lord placed them there. He has an important reason why they won’t appear in your future. "Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14 Are we willing to spend and be spent; not seeking to be ministered unto, but to minister? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. When the Lord Jesus was on the cross, He had authority to come down if He so wished. By the same token, those who are crucified with the Lord can let their old man come down from the cross if they so choose. The best warfare to engage in against the devil is to magnify the Lord Jesus in your life. The Bible declares, "Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered..." Psalm 68:1. Worship is the spiritual equivalent of the power of magnification. When you begin to worship, you ascend to join the Object of your adoration. If you are soaring in His presence, then you are looking down on your problems. "Oh, magnify the Lord with me." - Psalm 34:3 If we would pray more for others, promote what God is doing through others rather than ourselves, then the Lord would begin to promote us. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. Faith is released by speaking words. Jesus encouraged us to speak to mountains or to whatever our problem is. "...For assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain..." - Matthew 17:20 You don't need to use your faith for every single need in life. You need to use your faith to believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, and it will cause all the blessing you seek to come after you and overtake you. (2 Corinthians 5:21) God wants you to know you are His very intention! He has destined you for this very moment! Every believer in Christ Jesus can live in the perpetual continuous flow of the Holy Spirit daily in their life, for we've all been given the blessing and authority to tap into the root of continuous oil. That root is Jesus! "You, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them become a partaker of the root and of the fatness of the olive tree." - Romans 11:17 AFFIRMATIONS: I dominate my mind and my body with my spirit since I maintain my spirit properly -- feeding, strengthening, and dominating my inner man with the Word. There may be some things in my life that I need to curse because those things are hindering me from bearing fruit for the Kingdom of God. 2 Corinthians 5:7, "For we walk by faith, not by sight." Hebrews 11:1 gives the definition of faith, "Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen" (The Passion Translation). If we look at Abraham as an example, walking by faith requires you to go to a place you do not know, one that God will reveal as you walk in obedience (Genesis 12:1). On the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are to step out in obedience and use the keys and pieces we have been given, knowing that others will arrive at the time we need them. Lie down in green pastures of Peace. Learn to unwind whenever possible, resting in the Presence of your Shepherd. In this electronic age, believers stay “wired” much of the time, too tense to find Him in the midst of their moments. He built into your very being the need for rest. How twisted the world has become when people feel guilty about meeting this basic need! How much time and energy they waste by being always on the go, rather than taking time to seek His direction for their lives. He has called you to walk with Him down paths of Peace. He wants you to blaze a trail for others who desire to live in His peaceful Presence. He has chosen you less for your strengths than for your weaknesses, which amplify your need for Him. Depend on Him more and more, and He will shower Peace on all your paths. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake." - Psalm 23:1–3 “To shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.” -Luke 1:79 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. Since the moment we first came to Christ, there has been an updraft of the Holy Spirit, a constant drawing from God lifting us upward toward the fullness of His Presence. Let's surrender to this wind of God and allow Him to carry us into our holy future (our DESTINY). The disciples did not just pray and sit around waiting for God to enter the "playing field" to convert the world on His own. They went out into the world so that the Holy Spirit might go into the World. "The Lord worked with them." - Mark 16:20 God plants His purpose in our lives in the epicenter of our heart and it will fuel new exploits in our lives. The first step to getting out of the box is to fellowship with the God of the breakthrough. The Holy Spirit will charge you with fresh vision and boldness. Breakthrough is found in our private devotion and personal pursuit of God when no one is watching. If you are in need of breakthrough, make it a point to "return to the stronghold" and watch what the God of the Breakthrough does for you. When He breaks open, we break out. "Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you" (Zechariah 9:12). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. Your teenager needs to hear father pray. He needs to hear mother pray for him and for herself. He needs to know that his parents trust him to God. We must go on to maturity. We must set our vision on the PURPOSE (our DESTINY for which we have been made a new creation. "For all the promises of God in Christ are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." - 2 Corinthians 1:20 There is a union between Christ and the Christian that is so deep, so pure, so sweet, so real, that the very conditions of the human spirit are transmitted to His, and the conditions of Christ's spirit are transmitted to ours. PRAYER: Father, in the name of Jesus I ask You to strengthen me through Your love and wisdom. Lord Jesus, this day I choose to deny myself, take up my cross and follow You. I will fulfill my destiny through the inner strength of Your might and power. In Jesus' name, Amen. AFFIRMATIONS: Jesus is my Great High Priest, and He is interceding for me right now. I boldly confess that I am fear-free and that anxiety has no place in me! Like Abraham I stagger not at the promises of God through unbelief; but am strong in faith giving glory to God! I am no accident going somewhere to happen. My life isn't just a loose web of events and circumstances. God has specific plans for me. Romans 5:3,4 - "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope." Jesus did not come to deliver us from our problems but from ourselves. He did not come to change our circumstances - He came to change us. Hebrews 12:2, "We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith's perfection." The Lord calls each one and is beckoning us to come into His presence. As our eyes are transfixed on His eyes our vision changes and we are seeing through the eyes of Jesus. We are given strategies for breakthrough; and we are given revelation on direction we should take or information we would need for the new season ahead. Some are given a scene of encouragement and comfort as they looked through the eyes of Jesus. These Believers are walking through difficult times, but as they fixed their eyes on Jesus their vision is filled with peace, comfort, and hope. Romans 15:13, "Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in Him." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1 Faith is stronger than belief. To believe is to give intellectual assent; to have faith is to be inseparable from the object of your devotion. Belief can be changed or lost by a more persuasive argument. True faith is so much a part of the person it can only be taken by death. A poverty of soul must eternally torment that man who is satisfied merely to reason about eternal life, while remaining without the real possession and power of the indwelling Son of God manifest in his daily experience. If we are always reasoning, then we cannot cultivate the silence in which God speaks. The Lord wants to fill us with a holy desperation and a holy violence to lay hold of Him. It's a hunger that will drive us into holy romance with the Lord -- to enthrone Him in every area of our lives -- it's a fresh hunger to come into such intimacy with Jesus that we die to ourselves and come into holy union with Him in every way. Hunger for God is one of the greatest signs of life a person can have. We must press past intellectual awareness to hunger for heartfelt encounters that change and transform. "O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee; my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is." - Psalm 63:1 We are to live in the very Glory of God. However, we must daily overcome the spirit of the world and press behind the veil that is already torn that we might eat of the Bread of Heaven and look upon the blueprints of heaven. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. The Holy Spirit now lives in your inner man to strengthen you and help you to do what you could not do without Him. God's kingdom authority, dominion, and majesty should be reigning in every believer's inner man. "That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.....that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." - Ephesians 3:16,19 In order to hear from God, you must be convinced that God is going to talk to you right then and there as you are praying. The revelation that John the Baptist had concerning the Good News and his fresh revelation of the Kingdom must all be "pressed into." We cannot receive present truth revelation without enduring the press. "The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the Kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it." - Luke 16:16 How will your life change as you become more extreme with your faith? Can you visualize how your relationship with the Father is changing? AFFIRMATIONS: I confess that I am exactly the kind of person God wants to use! My heart is right; my attitude is willing; and I deeply desire for God to shape me to become a mighty instrument in His hands. As I spend time with Jesus, I am being changed into His image - and I demonstrate His life and His nature to other people! I confess that I live "In faith". I will never relinquish the dream He has put in my heart. Matthew 4:16 says, "The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Just begin to accept the idea that you shine. You received Christ, so your spirit is shining. You may not feel like it, or you may not realize it, but Christ is living inside of you. He is glowing for everyone to see. You may have good days and you may have bad days, but Jesus loves you and He is transforming you into His glorious light. Your mind is being healed and you shall overcome – simply because you confessed His name and asked Him to become real in your life.light has dawned." You may feel dead in every area of your life, but the light of Jesus is dawning. You may not feel that anything good can come out of your life, but the light of Jesus is dawning. The power of death is destroyed, and you will overcome. Jesus' light is life and brings peace to everyone who enters into it. You are entering into the fires of God. You are entering into the baptism of fire by the Holy Spirit, and your righteousness is about to shine in ways you never imagined. Jesus is going to be zealous in your heart and you are going to be bold like a lion. The next season is going to be a great season for you. Your light is going to shine! "Arise, shine, For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you." - Isaiah 60:1,2 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
