IMHumbleO, Today there is too much debate over subjects that profit little......heresies, word origin, preferred translation rather than being led by the Spirit ! What did Jesus have to say about our position in him ? 25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. I was struggling with my faith. I was caught in a wedge between choosing what I wanted to do instead of what God wanted for me. In the end I ended up leaving my residence and left on a bus on my own accord to go where I wanted. But halfway into the trip I felt nothing but pure spiritual agony. I had turned my back on God. I knew that what I was doing was gravely wrong. I was looking at verses such as Romans 1:28 where it talks about people being turned over to reprobate minds. How God gives them just what they want and turn them over to eternal damnation. The thought of all this almost made me puke. I felt sick to the point of faint at the though of being stamped unworthy and useless. I walked out on God.. This whole thing about being a reprobate terrified me. I'm turning back now and am on my way to make things right and totally surrender my life to Christ for good. I don't care what happens to me anymore or what others will think of me. I fear God more than man now. As long as I have Him, I don't ever want to turn back. Am I marked? Is it too late? Am I like Esau who gave up his inheritance for a plate of food, only to seek it back in tears and unable to receive it again? I read that a rebrobate mind is devoid of all sound judgment and left to do things that are unseemly. I don't feel I've quite reached this mindset yet.. not after this scare.. I greatly appreciate any input, many thanks and blessings

Thank you George for posting all those good Christian books in our own Worthy Board Library! I didn't know they were in there, I was looking for Bibles in the Worthy Board Bible store,but I guess they are gone but I'm very happy to be able to read those books on line! Thank you George! Did anybody read any and can we maybe do 1 book all together and make a Bible study on line with one of the books George posted? Everybody will have the book and nobody needs to go to the store to get it,is there anybody who will be the leader? George I ques you're too busy ? Or can you lead this maybe ones or twice a week? Would be wonderful:) I love to read the book about prayer again--did read it years ago,but it's good to be refreshed!

Nominations are over, time to vote: Omegaman editorial (shameless) It is expected that the pie vote will mirror recent U.S. Voting trends, with the liberal candidate (chocolate) winning over the conservative candidates (tart fruit flavors) while foreign candidates (salty/meat pies) not even making it to the ballot. In spite of my obvious biases and attempts to influence votes against bland pies (usually pies with the word "crème" in them), I elected to refrain from nominating a pie, so as to keep my considerable influence out of the picture.

this is a praise topic. God proves His hand is involved by moving when all seems lost. in this, He shows His immeasurable love. He leaves not even a shadow of a doubt, and loves to operate within the realm of "impossibilities". He does not share His glory. let's share examples of how God wins through what seems as losing to mankind. biblical examples and/or personal testimonies are all welcome. me first: Christ Jesus as the suffering servant, loving and obedient Son of God, voluntarily gave His life for all the sins of humanity. through His apparent defeat, we are all victorious. through His death, we have life, and life in abundance. personally, when Christ found me, i was at my utter worst. i had lost all hope in this life and the one hereafter. when i was ready to give it all up, He reached out His hand to lift me up. i died that day, alright.. the Prince of Peace killed me with His perfect love, and that old man passed away.. He makes all things new... your turn!
