You are correct. It reminds me of the "strange fire" that was offered to God in Lev. 10. It was NOT what God commanded. Today the MANY strange teachings are NOT what God commands, nor his or Christ's doctrines, rather they are the doctrines of men, by their private interpretations! Some have been around for hundreds of years and are so ingrained in churches and their members that have been so indoctrinated, they cannot be moved by us; rather it will take the move of the Spirit to reveal the error unto them.

Let all things be done unto edifying." 2 TIMOTHY KJV 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" There are many principles of Christ Some Principles of the Doctrine of Christ, foundation, ( Jesus D,B R) building blocks,(commandments,statues, standards)knowledge, (study& right division, context) understanding,(revelation by the Spirit, harmony of the scripts ) wisdom.(When & with whom to apply knowledge & understanding) Think of revelatory truth. The Spirit of God leads into ALL truth, man leads only in their own understanding, which causes division of the " isims!

I am sorry for your loss. Know that God sees you right where you are & offers great comfort.❤️ I too have suffered much family loss, sister, 2 brothers, mother, husband & a son & I miss them all everyday. I can tell you memories have helped me. Memories of love, of fun, family gatherings, events, milestone of life; but the sustaining force in my life has been my Lord. Grieving is a progress that is individual but is not always alone. He suffers with us for he, himself suffered grief. Become involved in grief counseling, bible & prayer groups, reading groups ect; please don't with-draw into yourself by this grief. With prayers❤️

One of my heroes was a missionary by Nate saint. Him and several other missionaries were trying to witness to this very violent tribe, and they had landed on a sandbar near their village to try and make contact. The natives attacked them. The group had two guns with them, and under the law they would have been within their right to defend themselves, it would not have been a sin according to the Bible. But, they chose not to, and just stood by and allowed the natives to kill them. The natives had never seen someone with a gun not shoot back, and this opened the door for the missionaries wives to go in and lead the entire tribe to Christ. I read this account when I was a very young believer and it amazed me the call of God on folks lives to spread the gospel......what an amazing blessing ! @The_Patriot21

Absolutely Free. It is by our desire to know God that we apply our hearts then yield & walk in seeking him, his PURPOSE & CALLING for our lives. Our understanding, translation & even application can change the meaning of God's word. Therefore we must,must,must examine our hearts daily & individually to shew ourselves approved of God, rightly dividing the word of truth, not needing to be ashamed but rather rejoicing to be counted among the righteous !

We have the word & read that the wicked & the unrighteous have a just punishment coming @ the hand of God. Should we rejoice? What should our attitude be...is the question. Eventhough it is not his WILL that any should perish w/o knowing him, this DOES NOT stop his judgment coming. I think we have been so over smothered with the "God is love" crowd that we fail to see him as a consuming fire, a "vengeance is mine" kind of God and yet he is both. IMO, this is why folk can't see LOF conscious punishment as being eternal or even the truth, ALL DON'T GO TO HEAVEN, as some like to wish ! It flys in the face of their attitude of love. Punishment, chastisement, correction, discipline, rebuke.....these can also be expressions of love.....think about it ! I believe prison should be both rehabilitative and punishment, even to execution. Does this make me uncaring? A rejecter of God's love? Hard-hearted, uncaring? Some examples such as Nero, Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Ted Bundy ect.; do we think God rejected them or vice versa? Does God's love have limits? Conditions? In short our attitude must be one of love for we are commanded to love our neighbor & love one another and let God recompense the wicked!

Ignorance is no excuse for NOT knowing the TRUTH of the word any longer. Get into the study of the word deep not a surface C/P from sites, commentaries, ect. If one truly has the Spirit of God leading in the teaching of the word then they also GROW!
