I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. Susan Rosegen was a fixture for years in New Orleans with NO PERSONALITY, then she magiclly got a job with National Geographic which was hardly a blip on the radar, back to New Orleans and now she is with CNN. She never had any reporting skills in New Orleans and clearly nothing has changed except she has become aggressive or perhaps showing her true colors after all.

It's so interesting when liberals like Rosegen get their feathers all ruffled when "WE THE PEOPLE" voice an opinion about actually wanting to keep what we earned. I know thats nervy of us...imagine that. Earning money and actually getting to keep it and not have the government take over half and give it to others. Geesh what were we thinking.

I don't think Susan what's-her-name's opinion is going to have a whole lot of influence on ANYBODY. But she sure did get her nose completely out of joint in that clip....one would think SHE was the President or somebody. World class nitwit that and I'd give ANYTHING to go heads up with her (verbally, of course). She would never think of herself as important again. :emot-hug:

Interesting can someone ask Susan, wasn't this country founded on the fact that we didn't want taxation without representation? These are peaceful demonstrations no one was hurting anyone I guest ACORN can try to steal an election and CNN will turn a blind eye, but let someone protest against Obama's plans and they are anti-whatever. I guess the new media doesn't want to have freedom of speak anymore.

What a lot of people don't realize is that these 'tea parties' are not really about Obama. (Apparently, this Susan what's-her-face reporter was incensed because she thought they were attacking her hero). They're about the government; the same one that's been overspending since Reagan's days in the White House. Some try to pretend this just started happening in January of this year but you're kidding yourselves. The Bush administration borrowed and spent a 1.2 trillion dollars on the Iraq war (does that figure ring any bells?) while totalling neglecting federal responsibilities such as interstate highways. Remember how we were told the Iraqi oil was going to pay for the war? Another lie. As for the media, they are definitely biased toward the left but, if they see their livelihoods slipping away....they can be shown the error of their ways. It all comes down to money in the end..for them, anyway, and we should deal with them accordingly.

I like how she was trying to argue, Did you know the state of Lincoln is receiving 40 million in stimulus money?"

Well.....ah.....er.....does she know that that is precisely why those people are protesting? The stimulus isn't "stimulating" anything, it's just another excuse for government to grow and keep spending money we don't have now and won't have in the future!

Way to go CNN - just keep sending us your hack reporters, and keep showing us how unabashedly bias you are.

It is precisely because of people like this working at CNN that I never watch them. I get my news from Fox News Channel, talk radio and the internet. CNN has been nothing but a propaganda tool for the hard left for years.

I agree with you 100 percent Ovedya. These people don't get it. They think that since some of the money will go to the state, everyone should be happy and bowing down thanking the feds for trillion dollar deficits for years to come. No thanks. What we need is fiscal responsibility. MG is right. This problem was caused by both parties, but no President in our history has spent so much in so little time as Obama and the current Congress, with no regard for the massive debt they are piling up, and the impact it will have on future generations.

I was driving through Ohio yesterday, and saw a large group of protesters on the side of the road. They had their signs protesting the wreckless spending and bail outs. They were asking those who supported them to give them three toots of their horn, so I hit the air horn for them 3 times to show my solidarity with their cause. The children especially liked that.

This is a growing movement of discontent. The feds are over reaching, and the American people are fighting back. The word is there will likely be more protests on July 4.

CNN and other liberal news outlets are trying to paint the Tea Party protesters as Republican nut jobs. However, these are not all just Republicans protesting. Some are actually Democrats and Independents! These are, for the most part, reasonably sane thinking individuals who are just fed up with the government pushing their way into our lives, and taking our money without representing our interests. The irony is, back when the real loonies were protesting Iraq and blaming Bush for everything from causing hurricane Katrina to where their missing socks had gone to, CNN and others painted them as patriotic!
