One of my friends responded thus: "Yes we should pray that this artist, who evidently is not a believer come to know the truth. Anyone who is a true believer would never portray Obama as our dear crucified and risen Savior. Portraying Obama as a crucified Lord is just.....wrong....horrible...." Portraying ANYONE as the crucified Lord is blasphemy. It doesn't matter who it is... Obama, Putin, Gordon Brown, Alfred E. Newman... ANYBODY. This "artist" is disgusting and outrageous. I pay for things all the time I question... ever read GAO reports? Well... we all pay for things with our tax money that not everyone agrees with...but that's just the way it is. And it matters not one iota who is in the White House - we all pay it... Republicans, Democrats, Red States, Blue States, etc. etc. But, I sense that it is a very important thing that your opinion be the correct one. I freely admit that I don't have all the answers and I do not truly trust another living being who claims they do... I know who has all the answers and I will put all my faith and trust in Him. I seriously doubt that Obama even knows about it. Then someone needs to tell him and he needs to denounce it. Would it calm the media storm if Obama did that --denounce this artwork-- or would it just make things worse? It would certainly help his personal relationship with God. . Furthermore, I'm even more sure that Obama didn't have a thing to do with this blasphemy masquerading as "Shock Art". I don't think that everyone is "more worried," rather they realize that if he condemned this mass messiah identification he could end the mockery himself . . . if he were truly a christian. Why isn't he ripping his clothes off and as did the apostles?
