They advertise hourly on t.v.
Guest LadyC
yes, but those are ambulance chasers... the odds of them winning a case where a physical injury has occurred is very much in their favor. the odds of them winning a case such as THIS is lower than the odds of winning a jackpot in a casino. My boss had a brother who was killed in a car accident last year - his wife was driving, she had a stroke and pulled out in front of a truck killing both of them instantly. The driver of the 18 wheeler was not injured, but is suing the estate of these people for all the trauma he is going through over killing them. The ambulance-chaser in this particular case is walking away with a tidy sum for settling.... so they do occasionally get a bundle.

They advertise hourly on t.v. It's the same here; ad after ad that says 'no recovery, no fee'. Everything from Mesophylioma (sp?) to auto injuries to drug mishaps. Maybe it's different in different states.

I don't think the paper would be letting this run otherwise.

First seen by Ben Franklin on bright yellow drums carried by the U. S. Marines as they reported for duty aboard the USS Alfred. Col. Gadsen( also on the USS Alfred) took it as his personal standard, presented it to Commodore Hopkins for his personal use, who in turn, presented it to the South Carolina legislature. Col. Gadsen also presented it to the Continental Congress to be used as a standard in the American Navy. Others who used the coiled snake and motto 1)The minutemen of Culpepper county, Virginia 2)Col. John Proctors Independent Battalion from Westmoreland, Pennsylvania. The first official U. S. Navy Jack, was an uncoiled snake with the motto below it on a red and white striped field. I think the police officer in question should spend a little tim ein the history section of the library.

If this actually happened, if there was no other reason that he was detained, then I hope the cop is fired. There is NO bumper sticker, that I've ever heard of, that's illegal. There is NO bumper sticker, that I've ever heard of, that's illegal. it wasn't the bumper sticker per se, it was the thinking that only radical extremists who are on the verge of a hostile takeover would put a bumper sticker like that on his car. so the cop, i'm sure, felt obligated to keep the status quo safe from him. (there's a bit of a tongue-and-cheek thing going on here. ) i still want one! Must have been a really stupid cop; that motto has been around for a long time. Well... when my son was in college ... he wore a t-shirt one day that said something like "I killed Nietchke" and the campus police wanted to know what it meant and was this another student....
