" Sorry if this has come up before, but any thoughts on why God creates evil? I don't remember why before. I trust in Him. Hi jeffnevins, Every thing that God creates is under His dominion the light, darkness, peace, and evil all of these things only the Lord himself could create it all the role of Jesus in the end-time is still to come as evil will be done away with forever more. It is not hard for me to accept that God created evil as God is the creator of every thing we see with our eyes and things we can't see with our eyes for God is God and he is Sovereign. It is His world not ours even the next breath of air in which we breath is His. And the answer to your question, "Why God creates evil"? the answer is that every thing that God creates is for His purpose even we were ourselves are created for His purpose and in Him we move and have our being. That way,when we accepted Him, it would be what we wanted to do. The Decision must be made by us, He won't force us, but if you don't you might break His heart. Imagine if you told your father that you didn't love him. I couldn't bear to ever do that; imagine how much less I could ever tell that to my Father in Heaven .
