If God had to respond each time we made a request, He would be subject to us rather than we to him. I am preparing a study that includes this topic that you may find some benefit from. I have not yet finished it, but it has some scriptures that apply to the question of suffering in the world. Why is the Suffering in the World The idea of suffering in the world is a common objection raised by critics of the Bible and has caused many Christians to struggle in the faith. I don't know why we suffer, but it does not matter to me, I can either suffer with God or without God, I choose to suffer with God. Suffering is part of the human condition and we are told by Christ that we will suffer. We belong to a faith after all that is centered on a man suffering.
