Guest FatherofLove Posted September 25, 2009 Share Posted September 25, 2009 For me the scriptures are very clear. Look at the Psalms, repeatedly David would focus on telling his soul to praise God. He knew his mind will and emotions refused to line up with God's Expectations. Also 2 Timothy 1:7 Jesus saved us from our mind-- It is Sound now. So declare it use faith. I know my thoughts wander but not as often as they used to. Mostly from Worshiping God regularly (1 hr w Church 3xs a week and then personal time as well) Also this may be hard for many but since I have prayed in tongues regularly (at least an hour a day) I have noticed my mind much more inclined to line up with the Word of God. With all due repect how doest that constitute a great dinner conversation, though perhaps not entirely silent. Thanks for correcting me though. I was KIDDING!
