I cant imagine it is because the whole idea of putting my couch a certain way to make my life more better seems to be relying on a couch....Opinions? Guest LadyC
"they" say that feng shui is not a religion. they say that it has nothing to do with faith, but with fact. but is it not putting faith in furniture arrangement to say that the direction a couch is facing will produce certain results, such as a harmonious home or whatever? they say it's based on nature rather than on a devine intelligence... but isn't nature a huge part of many religions? precious, arrange your furniture in a way that looks good to you and allows people to walk from room to room without tripping.... that's all the "fung shway" anyone needs

I don't give it the time of day.

If your furniture comes between you and Jesus or is substitued for His Peace. You ought to make an offering of shredding it through a wood chipper and then burning it to ashes. I have a 'thing' about furniture placement and what looks right on this side of the room or that side... It has nothing to do with the mystical aspects of Feng Shui... it just has to feel right to me - I am a furniture rearranger - always have been. I'm not worried about negative energy, etc. ... I just like to change things around the room... If you live your life under the influence of anything that is not totally centered around God - it won't matter what your house looks like or if you even have a house - you will be empty. Ever see that movie," The Passion of The Christ," by Mel Gibson? I Love the part where Jesus is making a table that's standard height for our times and his Mother asks him what on earth he is doing. She states that his idea will never catch on. LOL
