The sciptures say that Israel shall live securely in a land without walls.. How different from the situation now. The only solution is that the enemies are defeated by Israel and not posing a security threat to the nation.

Well, in Hebrew understanding, time is circular (thus "history repeats itself"), so maybe.
Guest yod
Obviously, logic and critical thinking are not your strengths. Read the psalm as a whole. Also, from the context of the psalm, there is no reason to suppose that this has anything to do with end times mythology. God is a liar if this isn't future because this confederacy has never happened before 5 They conspire with one accord; against you they make a covenant

O God, keep not thou silence: Hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. Psa 83:2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult; And they that hate thee have lifted up the head. Psa 83:3 Thy take crafty counsel against thy people, And consult together against thy hidden ones. Psa 83:4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; That the name of Israel may be Psalm 83 tells of the destruction of the Arab nation enemies of Israel which had not occured. Could it be a future fulfillment to fulfill the prophesy that Israel shall live peacefully in its borders in the end days? Assyria or Damascus is to be destoyed in the end times and this could be the war that it is destroyed. Let's hope so.

Guest
.... Seems like a sense of past, present and future is your weakness. Read the psalm as a whole, not piecemeal, and do try to understand what the point of the psalm is .... >>>>>()<<<<< Reading.... It Seems The Point Is.... KING JESUS A song; a psalm by Asaph. O God, do not remain silent. Do not turn a deaf ear to me. Do not keep quiet, O God. Look, your enemies are in an uproar. Those who hate you hold their heads high. They make plans in secret against your people and plot together against those you treasure. They say, "Let's wipe out their nation so that the name of Israel will no longer be remembered." They agree completely on their plan. They form an alliance against you: Psalms 83:1-5 )GWT) >>>>>()>>>>> Reading.... It Seems The Point Is.... KING JESUS Why do the nations gather together? Why do their people devise useless plots? Kings take their stands. Rulers make plans together against the LORD and against his Messiah by saying, "Let's break apart their chains and shake off their ropes." The one enthroned in heaven laughs. The Lord makes fun of them. Then he speaks to them in his anger. In his burning anger he terrifies them by saying, "I have installed my own king on Zion, my holy mountain." I will announce the LORD's decree. He said to me: "You are my Son. Today I have become your Father. Ask me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance and the ends of the earth as your own possession. You will break them with an iron scepter. You will smash them to pieces like pottery." Now, you kings, act wisely. Be warned, you rulers of the earth! Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, or he will become angry and you will die on your way because his anger will burst into flames. Blessed is everyone who takes refuge in him.
