The movie, starring actor Sandra Bullock and singer Tim McGraw, chronicles the uplifting, real-life rags to riches story of Baltimore Raven offensive lineman Michael Oher. <snip> McGraw, who plays Sean Tuohy, said if the film hadn't been based on a true story he never would have believed it. "I think people have those kinds of circumstances all the time and they don't confront them. This one was all about turning the car around and asking questions," McGraw told the San Francisco Chronicle. Actress Sandra Bullock, who plays the lead role, said she was initially reluctant to work with Leigh Anne since she'd has had less than positive experiences with Christians. "People use it [Christianity] as a banner, and then they don't do the right thing," she told Straight.com. However, Bullock later had a change of heart. "I feel I have finally met someone who practices but doesn't preach," she said. "I now have faith in those who say they represent a faith."
