I have a few artists for whom I know nothing about their religious beliefs / faith. But Bono goes a bit beyond the normal secular artist. Peace, Dave Hi Dave, I'm sensitive when it comes to music. Pre-saved, I listened to a lot of stuff that was just pure evil. When I pray, I often can still hear what I have been listening to in my mind... it is a distraction for me. So I'm really cautious of what I listen to. It's likely that this is something that is a sin for me, but not for others. I'm OK with that . I have suspected something was up with U2 for a while, but didn't realise it was quite so bad. Now that I know, it feels like a compromise for me to support them. Meat offered to idols, so to speak. I would never buy another of their CD's. You and I are alot alike in that respect. I often say that I'd rather be misunderstood than disobedient. Following God very closely can make one feel like they are misunderstood sometimes. The world and the people of it just aren't going to get it. I saw this movie about Abraham one time. The movie depicted the visit of Melchizedek after God and Abrahams victory. He smiled broadly in the film and told Sarai. "Finally, I've found a man that understands me." He had found someone to have fellowship with and He was the Priest of God. Peace, Dave Sometimes I've felt this same conviction and ignored it because I was discouraged by others, or because in my own human wisdom, I couldn't understand why God would convict me to do such a thing.
