I am completely dumbfounded with this whole saga - this is a major environmental catastrophe with many years of dominoe effect yet it seems to be brushed under the carpet in terms of major environmental disasters.......

I heard that the temporary cap was accidentally knocked off by a sub?? So the leaking (correction-major gushing) is still ensuing? It makes me ill to think how long this has been going on..

Lets wait till this spill is over before we decide that.

At this point in time, this spill is not trivial - we are to physically live in the day we are in but (with our spiritual eyes on the future - eternity)......

this spill is affecting more than just sea creatures....

That will become painfully evident in the future. The oil AND the toxic disperants they are spraying on the oil are evaperating into air and on up into the atmosphere. They wil be carried to who knows where and come back to earth as toxic rain. That could be anywhere in the world. That is what worries me.

The 2.7billion is a drop in the ocean for a company like BP. BP probablyis more keen to stop the leak but not for environmental reasons.

Blessings
