According to our local news, one of the things the judge asked had to do with how the new law affects us foreign policy, since so many nations seem to be upset with us over it. Im afraid that the judge may be bullied into ruling against arizona.

There's nothing like Obama alienating the rest of the Country that he hasn't successfully alienated already. This should just about be the last straw in a long list of them.

Black Panthers not charged

Skip Gates (cops acting stupidly)

Attorney General calling Nation cowards on race

Sherry Sherrod

NAACP and First Ladies unfounded accusations of racism against the Tea Party

Judge Sotomayers obvious bias against a firefighter because of his race

This is the opening salvo of a war between the feds and the states. If Arizona loses, millions will be infuriated. If they win, millions will be further emboldened to challenge the central government. State laws trump the federal government's, according to the Constitution, which does state that Washington has the duty to protect and defend the borders. (It does NOT state that states can't do it themselves.) The feds are, however, seriously derelict in their performance of that duty. And exactly what foreign policy does this affect? Our relations with Mexico? What relations? They take, we give.....that does not a relationship make.

Ive been reading all the news articles on this, for obvious reasons. This is one of the more in depth articles on yesterdays hearing.

The judge is an appointee of bill clinton. That is making me a teensy bit nervous.
