The so-called "Islamists" and "Fundamental Muslims" etc. Not only things like 9/11 but for another example the following butchery of 12 people from Nepal.

I simply no longer recognize anything human about these murderers. Perhaps total demonic possession is closer to the truth. What say you all?

This is just my opinion, and you may disregard it as you will. DISCLAIMER: I am not a christian, or a muslim for that matter.

Yes, persecution is happening all over the world. It has happened in the past, and the present, as I hope will not happen as much in the future. Persecution happens under certain circumstances that promote it:

1) fanaticism in belief

2) intolerance for different beliefs

3) access to weapons

4) poor living conditions

The quoted Quran's sura above is very much like the section of the bible that teaches not to be unequally yolked to unbelievers. Some people choose to interpret these teachings to insulate themselves from unbelievers, for unbelievers are inferior creatures. Such beliefs promote hatred among people who believe different things.

May I solicit the resistance to this kind of intolerance from the people who read this message for the sake of my children's future in this world?

Some people choose to interpret these teachings to insulate themselves from unbelievers, for unbelievers are inferior creatures. Such beliefs promote hatred among people who believe different things.

According to the Quoran, wherever a Muslim puts his feet, it becomes an Islamic property. Also, if an unbeliever persists in his unbelief, he is to be killed. In the Bible, Jesus went as a lamb to the slaughter without giving any "defense" of Himself.

Supposed Christians who have "killed" in the name of their "religion" DID NOT KNOW CHRIST.

But you wouldn't know these things, because ONLY those with the "spirit of God" IN THEM are able to understand the "spiritual things of God".

If you are a TRUTH SEEKER, then set your mind and heart to either proving or disproving the God of the Bible and His son - Jesus Christ. It will probably take you many years of thoroughly investigating all the recorded history of the Revelation of God, but I feel confident you are up to the task.

In any case, God wants YOU to know that He LOVES YOU and that because you are a natural born "sinner" that He has provided "FORGIVENESS" to you through the person of Jesus Christ and the work of the Cross.

There are hundreds of Old Testament scriptures that prophesy of Messiah Jesus' coming. Then there were thousands of witnesses to that great event both of His followers and secular observers. Then of course, He prophesied of His own death and resurrection. Upon His resurrection He was seen by thousands again. Now all that was over 2,000 years ago. Between then and now, Jesus has been the most notable figure the world has ever known and has changed this world like no man has ever done before or after. Today, His followers continue to die for HIS NAME. They are not out waging war, except against "powers and principalities in heavenly places", and that is upon their knees with their head bowed down ready for the axe of the unbelievers to fall upon his neck. This is how you can tell that they know the ONE TRUE GOD.

Restarted this study today:

<Ephesians 6:12> "...the rulers of the darkness of this world..."

rulers - [2888] kosmokrator, kos-mak-rat'-ore; from 2889 and 2902; a world-ruler, an epithet of Satan: -ruler.

darkness - [4655] skotos,skot'-os; from the base of 4639;shadiness, i.e. obscurity (lit. or fig.): - darkness.

world - [165] aion, ahee-ohn'...properly an age....

Just a smidge about Spiritual Warfare. Christians are instructed to put on the whole armour of God. <Ephesians 6:10-18>. May not be obvious {or it may be}, but I as all Christians are under spiritual attack. As I type this in.

I focus on "...the rulers of the darkness of this world..." for this post for more than one reason. This should be of interest: within the past few years I was meditating on this again and went downtown. Clare [an ex Nun in her 70s] who I had become acquainted with, started talking {OUT OF THE BLUE} about "a ruler of the darkness of this world" that she had seen. She said it went through her as she was walking on stairs, was man-sized, and had three diagonal slashes on it. It materialized/dematerialized. Definitly not the kind of thing she and I talk about.

People who hear voices -"paranoid schizophrenics"-telling them to kill. Voices are real.

This is only my own opinion, and you are not obliged to accept it. DISCLAIMER: I am not a christian. I am not a muslim either.

Thanks for the response. Just as you claim TRUE christians would not kill others, I am sure muslims will claim that TRUE muslims do not kill others as well. It must be that muslims who killed for their God must not have known ALLAH. It is very convenient to label people after the act. It is convenient, but it proves nothing.

Oh, how to discern the TRUE believers from the not-so-true believers in the absence of catastrophic acts? There is one sure way....watch how they behave incrementally. Look for the incremental steps how a believer behaves and how they interpret what they do in the words of their God. See how they treat others who disagree with them. See how vehemently they preach their view and claim it as God's view. Measure that behaviour with behaviour from known extremists who have committed catastrophic acts. See the parallels if they are there.

As with Christians, Muslims fall into two groups, the "liberal" and the "conservative".

Now personally I believe that a "conservative world view" more closely resembles what God desires. If you are a "liberal" then you may not understand what I'm about to say.

The "conservative Christian" will NOT kill others for THEIR beliefs.

The "liberal Muslim" will NOT kill others for THEIR BELIEFS.

The "liberal Christian" WILL kill others for their beliefs.

The "conservative Muslim" WILL kill others for their beliefs.

I have a greater respect for the "conservative Muslim" than I do for the "liberal Muslim", although I would rather have the "liberal Muslims around" since they won't be out to kill me if I don't convert to Islam. The "conservative Muslim" is NOT wishy-washy when it comes to their faith. They don't pick and choose which parts of the Quran to believe and obey.

Liberal Christians ALSO pick and choose what they want to believe. I have less respect for them than I do the "conservative Muslims", even though they are out to kill me.
