Everyone needs to face facts. The U.S.A. is about 7 to 10 years away from being a second rate nation. We are about 20 years away from complete economic collapse.

I'm even more pessimistic than that, hr; I believe that the world will undergo a cataclysmic change even sooner. And we know what that change will be. Economic issues are not going to matter.

I agree. I think we are the generation that will see Christ return. Having said that, every other generation in history has thought the same thing.

Let me see if I can put this diplomatically, B.E.......horsefeathers! You are socialist in your thinking; you don't understand capitalism. :emot-shakehead:

I own a small business. I have never made more money in my business, by decreasing the amount of money my business makes.

A government is a very large scale business. A Government will never make more revenue by decreasing the amount of revenue it receives.

You can fly in the face of math all you want, but math doesn't care, and math is a universal truth.

I also own a business and I would have to disagree with you on one point. The years my business has turned the biggest pfofits on paper, I have put less money in my pocket than I did on years where my gross sales were way off.

A govt. can cut tax rates and increase revenue. Has happened several times in history.

So the President's a misguided imperfect doofus? LOL, you can't have it both way's. Were told by the Left that he's a genius, daily.

They can say whatever they want but that doesn't make it true. He's a mediocre President on most things. And I didn't say he was a misguided doofus; those are YOUR words.

Let's go back a bit shall we? We can't lay the fiscal crisis at the feet of Bush either. He did have something to do with it. However; it was caused by misguided leftist policies that sought to give everyone in America a home. Whether they could afford it or not. Kinda like Health Care.

I won't argue that point because it WAS part of the meltdown. Corporate greed was another.

Ah' so the truth finally comes out. We're misguided morons who believe everything were told or read. Open mouth and insert foot, much?

I didn't call anyone a 'misguided moron'; those are YOUR words and I don't understand why you're so defensive....and rude. No foot in this mouth and I stand by what I said. I can't be bullied.

The fact remains that Obama has spent far more in the first two years of his Presidency than all other Presidents combined, to include President Bush. He has also had a Congress that agree's with his policies so there's no one to blame. It was quite evident in the last Election who the people held to account for the current crisis.

And I was one of them. Yes, Obama has spent like there's no tomorrow but I don't think it's some big conspiracy. He's a tax and spend liberal; surely you know that.

I don't care to debate the Wars in Iraq or against Islam. It's a necessary evil in my opinion. It's also has nothing whatsoever to do with the current fiscal crisis.

Really? How do you think President Bush financed those two wars? Why have we borrowed so much in the past eight or nine years? And Obama is financing them exactly the same way.

Meanwhile, President Obama has in place most of those same supposedly misguided policies that Bush had and that he said that he opposed. Why?

You'd probably have to ask HIM that . Maybe he believes it's the best way to go.

However, I will inform you that most of the Media out there have a bias as well and that places like the Daily Kos and MSNBC are nothing more than the same prattle you appear to abhor.

Wouldn't know; I don't ever go to those sources. And just so we're clear.....I really DO abhor prattle.

What I will do is alieviate you of the notion that folks who adhere to either side aren't necessarily morons nor are they consumers of prattle.

Again, show me where I said anyone was a moron. Don't attribute anything to me that I didn't say. I'm not exactly sure why you're all fired up about my comments either. I'm a free American and I have very strong opinions. I say what I mean and mean what I say and that ain't gonna change.

I am at peace with His return, as I'm sure all believers are, because this world is never going to work until He is physically here and running things. :)
