Wisconsin Governor Walker's Faith Under Attack

by Staff

March 14, 2011

MADISON, Wisc., (christiansunite.com) -- Freedom From Religion Foundation co-president Annie Laurie Gaylor attacked Governor Walker's faith in The Progressive, "It is frightening that the highest executive in our state suffers from the delusion that God dictates his every move. Consider the personal and historic devastation inflicted by fanatics who think they are acting in the name of their deity."

Governor Scott Walker is in an epic battle over Wisconsin's future budget. The world is watching as 14 Democratic Senators are in Illinois. Without their involvement, the Senate in Wisconsin cannot pass their budget.

As Wisconsin faces many challenges, Governor Walker is putting his faith in Jesus Christ. Also, his Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch is a Christian who recently overcame colon cancer.

Governor Walker expressed his Christian faith before being elected. He has never pushed his personal beliefs on anyone, but has talked about it when asked.

Like anyone cares what those fools think? :noidea:

I second that statement; they ARE fools if they think they have freedom FROM religion. They don't.

Walker did kind of hand Wisconsin to the Democrats for the next election.

That remains to be seen. The truth of the matter is the same folks who trucked in protestors and organized the protests in Wisconsin are the same ones doing it in several others States. To include my own, Maryland, just today. The ironic thing is that our Governor is as Liberal as they get and has spent years destroying Baltyimore with the same kind of Liberal nonsense. This doesn't mean that the folks in Wisconsin agree with them.

Although, it was quite a stunt to watch as Governor O'Malley joined a protest against himself today. LOL :laugh:

I think we may be seeing a wakeup call to the electorate. Politicians who do what they say they will once in office, and articulate these messages well, should fare well. If the R-senator from Mass and the R-governors in traditionally liberal states such as Wisconsin hang on, I think we could see a new change in politics, to the severe detriment to democrats. Unless they get the message.

If you're talking about those fourteen representatives who ran away.....it doesn't appear they are capable of learning from mistakes. They will lose their jobs, most of them, and then wonder why.
