The man who killed a Buckeye Police Officer Rolando Tirado was in the country illegally and allowed to stay in California despite felony convictions, police said. (snip) Quiroz was legally in the country on a greed card at one time, but he has ties to a violent street gang and numerous felony convictions dating back several years, police said. The gang ties and felonies violate his green card status. Livingston said California officials intentionally overlooked Quiroz's illegal status. Name another place in this country where you have to drive through armed checkpoints within the US borders. Name another place in this country where the feds have put up signs telling you not to enter your national park because of the danger from drug and human smugglers. That too is my reality.
