It is entitled "Divorce" I think. It should be in the controvercial. It is like 4th down. I have to run home now, but I will be checking through the evening.

Be encouraged my friend. If God can call me, then he can call anybody!

Shelby,

Thanks, I did find it. I hope it doesn't turn heated like this one.

SuperJew - You have an arguementive spirit. It does not abide with me. Therefore I chose not to feed your conflict with responses. I have stated where I stand and given an abundance of scripture but you continue to say proove it..I have done all I am going to do. Your opinion of me doesn't not matter to me because I do not answer to you I answer to GOD and only GOD. I do not have to answer your disrespectful questions and comments...I have no ill feelings toward you. God Bless You!

I know this isn't directed towards me, but he is my brother and I get defensive when someone speaks against him like this when you don't even know him. Telling someone they have an "argumentative spirit" and that he had "disprespectful questions" then adding "Oh..I have no ill feelings toward you. God Bless!" just doesn't fly...sorry. You don't label someone negatively and then say "God Bless"..this does not facilitate peace (if that's what you're sincerely trying to do). If you really have no ill feelings towards these ppl , why point out their perceived flaws or list the things you don't like about them?

Look, I'm not trying to drag this thread out any further because, frankly, it lost it's purpose several pages ago. But I will post what I think when I disagree..and I disagree with your attempt at peace (above). I'm sorry, but I'm just not seeing the sincerity. Love covers sins, it doesn't expose them. If you're going to seek peace with the ppl who have hurt you or have disagreed with you..can't you do that without all the negative comments about them? It just seems disingenuous to say "God Bless" and "I have no ill feelings" while insulting someone in the same breath.

Sorry if my honestly offends you, that's just the way it's appearing to me.

~Tess

It is a fact Tess..I am not here to fight and argue, that is not of GOD, it cause DIVISION in his people, but I hold nothing against your brother..Whether you accept that that is between you and the Lord. You are a much younger than I and so is your brother....RESPECT is all I will say...as for what I said I stand by it...I was not seeking PEACE I was seeking my own understanding it is up to you all to seek your own peace...I stated how I felt AGAIN.. You DO NOT know my heart or who I am as well hun...I have come to this thread and posted how I believe and was IMMEDIATELY jumped on like I had walked into a den of tigers...And thats OK...Because I felt that you ALL could say whatever you wanted to say but I out of respect held my tongue and responded without trying to invoke a FIGHT!...I will not enter into that kind of discussion with a brother or sister in Christ or even a person whom is not saved..PERIOD!.

As for what whoever said it that I came in here and spat out my belief and that it is what is and that everyone should believe the way I believe..That is so wrong I never did that! I STAND FIRM ON WHERE I STAND NO MATTER WHAT...IF I AM WRONG THEN I WILL ANSWER TO GOD WHEN HE RETURNS OR IF I GO BEFORE THEN AND THE SAME GOES FOR EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU.

Sometimes even Christians decide to not follow the words of Christ and the doctrines which He taught about life and love. Sometimes Christians even become obsessed with disputing and arguing about words--the teachings of Jesus, the doctrines of God throughout the Bible, or even just words. They just want to dispute and argue. Paul warned Timothy that such rejection of the teachings of Christ and such arguing can lead to all sorts of problems--eventually even to Hell. He warned Timothy to withdraw from/avoid such people so as to not get caught up in the force of gravity of their sinful ways.

Sometimes Christians go so far with their disputing and arguing ways that they even begin to reject authority and to speak evil of people--even their fellow Christians. James taught that speaking evil of a brother in Christ is really speaking evil of God. It is the ultimate expression of a lack of faith in God and puts such an evil-speaking person in eternal danger. But Christians don

I read the book of James just the other day and thought to myself, if Christians read that book everyday, which only consists of, I think five chapters, then maybe it would help us to not lose the perspective we should have when we approach an arguement or a problem. I know I need to read that book everyday. God's certainly not finished with me yet and I'm thankful for that, because I know I make many mistakes and stumble. Yet God is always right there to forgive me, to wipe the slate clean and let me start over again.

Good post kelli,

Kat

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
