You can always count the spots on the ceiling or number of tiles on the bathroom floor or kitchen floor if you have them. At least you can increase your math skills. There all kinds of things to do while grounded.

I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF!! 10 WHOLE DAYS OF NOT WATCHING TV AND I'M STILL ALIVE!!

In these last 10 days I've learned a few things:

1. Being grounded increases my post count

2. At about 4 in the afternoon, if I'm sitting at the computer in the den..the sunlight casts a shadow on the wall that vaguely resembles Jay Leno.

3. I learned to speak French, okay no not really. I learned how to bake french fries though.

4. There are exactly 57 books on the top right shelf in the den.

5. I learned how to understand football plays and rules when I made Super Jew be my own personal sports commentator since I couldn't watch the game I wanted to see.

6. Missing an episode of Survivor won't kill me. Although it does make me rather irritable.

7. I can floss, brush, gargle and get it all done before I finish singing "A Little Less Conversation" by Elvis in my head.

So there you have it folks, I think I've learned my lesson.

Tess, I see that a lot of people have recommended that you read while you are grounded. I recommend the BIBLE...it is the most important book, not to mention quite interseting as well. I hope Friday comes quickly so that you can get back to normal. In the mean time, try to use this time to do something useful. GOD BLESS, HIS

Well, when I'm gargling I sing it in my head

Somehow I doubt those are the things my brother intended I learn from being grounded...haha.

actually I get that a lot. I think I am always in trouble for doing stupid stuff like passing notes during church or cussing sometimes or taping eminem songs off the radio.
