Well, I am sure everyone elses gas is cheaper then mine. It's been around $3.50 per gallon, but has gone up. I only use gas when I need to drive out to the glacier. I just walk everywhere. Yukon

Soul Winning Story: A sister and I were knocking doors one Saturday and almost every door was slammed in our face. We wanted to give up, but Jesus would not allow us to leave until we knock this one last door. So, we obeyed Jesus and knocked on the door and this elderly lady opened up the door. She was very thin and sickly with a oxygen bottle by herside and an O2 mask on her face. We started to share Jesus with her and the presence of the Holy Spirit was so strong, that I knew in my heart that she was going to recieve Jesus. I stepped back as my friend Leah continued to share with this lady and I prayed to Jesus the whole time. After Leah shared with this lady, Leah prayed the sinners prayer with her and she asked Jesus to come into her heart. The heavens and the angels were rejoicing in that day, for another name was written down in the book of everlasting life!! Katherine the elderly lady invited us into her house, she showed us her prayer bench and shared with us that she grew up Jehovah Witness. She shared that she has Emphzemia(sp) and lung cancer and that her days were numbered. We made sure every week that we visited her and prayed with her. Each week she had a different prayer request and God answered her prayer. We would stand in a circle in her living room and sing hymns with her. One of her request was to be able to sing again, so we asked Jesus to allow her to sing. The next Saturday we sang "Amazing Grace". Then she wanted to be baptized, but she died the next week. I will never forget how Jesus would not let us leave until we knocked the last door, and how Jesus answered all of her prayer request. I will see Katherine in Heaven someday! Yukon

Wow!! I didn't know minimum wage was that low. You can get a job at McDonald's in Kodiak Alaska and the starting wage is $10.00 an hr. Are you sure minimum wage is that low? Yukon

It doesn't matter much if I ever get any gifts. Jesus loves me and is my family and Jesus gift to be was allowing me to wake up and serve Him another day. Yukon

I had heard Jesus Birth was around Sept/Oct instead of December. I am just glad Jesus was born to be our Savior so we could live forever with Him in Heaven. It's kind of nice having someone love us so much!! Yukon

What ever way God chooses to paint the sky, it doesn't matter much too me. I love the winter mostly because that's when God shapes things with His breath. Especially the way He blows around the snow and makes the different shapes. It's snowing on the Mtns and freezing rain where I am. Yukon

I do not like how the world has made Christmas into a money maker and materialistic time. It should be celebrated for the true meaning which is the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ my best friend. I think why ppl have so many problems around Christmas is because the amoral society that we live in and not sharing the true meaning of Christmas. I hope this is not worded wrong of what I am trying to say. Yukon

I usually get involved with ppl and try to keep them happy and spend most of my time doing something in the church, then I do not get lonely around the holidays. It's sad sometimes when I see ppl with their families hugging and smiling, and just talking with one another. Jesus is my family and He makes me happy. Yukon

I like burning candles don't know if it's the same as Aromatherapy. I use candles for light mostly because the electricity goes out alot. Lat night it helped with our 89 kt winds. It was so hard to drive home with it snowing and the 89Kt winds. It was kind of scary. I use candles also for to scent my house up, especially to get rid of that fish smell or wet dog smell. I like Honey dew and sugar cookie smell. Yukon

When I was in high school several years ago, I remember a boy in my German class that hit the teacher with a chair then pulled a gun on her. He had a mental problem. Of course where I live now dosn't have problems like that. Yukon

I think what the U.S. is doing is a good thing. This is the first time in a long time that terrorism has been reduced around the world. I believe that God is in control and He knows the plan for this world. I believe we need to pray for our leaders and thank God for sparing our lived this long!! Yukon

When I've done street ministry I usually walked and handed out tract, but would only share Jesus with the ppl that the Holy Spirit leaded me too. One man did ask for money for some food. I told the man that I will, but first let me share with you a special kind of food. Just by looking at the man I could tell that he lived on the street, because he had everything he owned with him. I shared with him all about Jesus, and the presence of the Holy Spirit was so strong. Jesus used me as a vessel to lead this broken man to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Then I took the man and we went together to a food place and ate together. I gave the man a local pastor's name so he can get more spiritual food and help to get back on his feet. When I go into place I usually pray before I go and Jesus usually lets me know if it's safe or not safe. So, I make sure I listen to him. Hope this helps!! Yukon :il:

You can always count the spots on the ceiling or number of tiles on the bathroom floor or kitchen floor if you have them. At least you can increase your math skills. There all kinds of things to do while grounded. Yukon

In the work place when someone visit for an injury or some sort of sickness or a small paper cut. I treat each person as if they have a major illiness or injury going on, because that might be the only attention that they get the whole day. I also have a candy jar in my office, because let me tell you; candy opens many conversations, struggles that are going on in their lives, hurts, or family/marriage problems. I've had ppl talk about increasing their relationship with Jesus. I pray with them if they ask, and if not I just tell them that I am praying for them. I had one co-worker tell everyone that the reason I am happy all the time is because I had too much sugar as a child. Well, one day I spoke with him and told him instead of telling ppl I had too much sugar, to tell them that Jesus in my heart makes me happy all the time. Then, I told him that I would like to see him in heaven one day and gave him a tract and told him how to recieve Jesus into his heart. He just stood there with his mouth open and his eyes very big. Never said a word too me. He did take the tract and never mentioned the sugar anymore. I enjoy sharing Jesus with my co-workers!!! Yukon

I agree with you George!! Before my Pastor died of Cancer, he said to always seek the scriptures after he preached a message, and if he was in error then let him know. Actually he was always right on with the scriptures. I continue to do that daily. The Bible is my road map and has a little more trusting info then ppl do. I have found out that ppl can twist the scriptures because we are not perfect. I usually go to Jesus about everything and use ppl as last resorts. Jesus usually can repair the problem quicker and better the ppl. Thanks again for Worthy and your service to Jesus daily!! Yukon

I serve Jesus because Jesus has been the only one there when the whole world has walked out. Jesus teaches me so much about Him daily. He teaches me the most awesome stuff with His creation. All I wanna do when I get up in the morning is to thanks Jesus for yet another day and spend every moment with Him. Jesus has taught me to give of myself to ppl. No matter if they hurt you and are mean to. Jesus says to continue to give of yourself to ppl. Jesus wants me to love ppl as He does. So, I must do as Jesus request. Jesus is my best friend, Savior and Lord. I love Jesus so much. He has done so much for me, and He will continue to guide me as I grow closer to him. I spend most of my time with Jesus. He wipes the tears from my eyes, He watches me as I sleep and waits until I wake so, He can spend His day with me again. Sometimes when things get hard, Jesus carrys me in His arms and gives lots of hugs. Jesus sometimes sends ppl across my path that need to be loved, so I teach them and show them all about Jesus and they too get to spend time with Jesus. It doesn't matter if there is a reward or not. I am not concerned with that. My relationship with Jesus is so special and intimate. Words cannot even express my love for Jesus and His love for me. So, hopefully I explained "Hosanna" Yukon
