Well, I am sure everyone elses gas is cheaper then mine. It's been around $3.50 per gallon, but has gone up. I only use gas when I need to drive out to the glacier. I just walk everywhere. Yukon

Soul Winning Story: A sister and I were knocking doors one Saturday and almost every door was slammed in our face. We wanted to give up, but Jesus would not allow us to leave until we knock this one last door. So, we obeyed Jesus and knocked on the door and this elderly lady opened up the door. She was very thin and sickly with a oxygen bottle by herside and an O2 mask on her face. We started to share Jesus with her and the presence of the Holy Spirit was so strong, that I knew in my heart that she was going to recieve Jesus. I stepped back as my friend Leah continued to share with this lady and I prayed to Jesus the whole time. After Leah shared with this lady, Leah prayed the sinners prayer with her and she asked Jesus to come into her heart. The heavens and the angels were rejoicing in that day, for another name was written down in the book of everlasting life!! Katherine the elderly lady invited us into her house, she showed us her prayer bench and shared with us that she grew up Jehovah Witness. She shared that she has Emphzemia(sp) and lung cancer and that her days were numbered. We made sure every week that we visited her and prayed with her. Each week she had a different prayer request and God answered her prayer. We would stand in a circle in her living room and sing hymns with her. One of her request was to be able to sing again, so we asked Jesus to allow her to sing. The next Saturday we sang "Amazing Grace". Then she wanted to be baptized, but she died the next week. I will never forget how Jesus would not let us leave until we knocked the last door, and how Jesus answered all of her prayer request. I will see Katherine in Heaven someday! Yukon

Wow!! I didn't know minimum wage was that low. You can get a job at McDonald's in Kodiak Alaska and the starting wage is $10.00 an hr. Are you sure minimum wage is that low? Yukon

It doesn't matter much if I ever get any gifts. Jesus loves me and is my family and Jesus gift to be was allowing me to wake up and serve Him another day. Yukon

I had heard Jesus Birth was around Sept/Oct instead of December. I am just glad Jesus was born to be our Savior so we could live forever with Him in Heaven. It's kind of nice having someone love us so much!! Yukon

What ever way God chooses to paint the sky, it doesn't matter much too me. I love the winter mostly because that's when God shapes things with His breath. Especially the way He blows around the snow and makes the different shapes. It's snowing on the Mtns and freezing rain where I am. Yukon

I do not like how the world has made Christmas into a money maker and materialistic time. It should be celebrated for the true meaning which is the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ my best friend. I think why ppl have so many problems around Christmas is because the amoral society that we live in and not sharing the true meaning of Christmas. I hope this is not worded wrong of what I am trying to say. Yukon

I usually get involved with ppl and try to keep them happy and spend most of my time doing something in the church, then I do not get lonely around the holidays. It's sad sometimes when I see ppl with their families hugging and smiling, and just talking with one another. Jesus is my family and He makes me happy. Yukon

I like burning candles don't know if it's the same as Aromatherapy. I use candles for light mostly because the electricity goes out alot. Lat night it helped with our 89 kt winds. It was so hard to drive home with it snowing and the 89Kt winds. It was kind of scary. I use candles also for to scent my house up, especially to get rid of that fish smell or wet dog smell. I like Honey dew and sugar cookie smell. Yukon

When I was in high school several years ago, I remember a boy in my German class that hit the teacher with a chair then pulled a gun on her. He had a mental problem. Of course where I live now dosn't have problems like that. Yukon
