So...it use to be that the first 3 numbers ... went by the state one lived in.

Ramdomnization is just starting to be used though. In 2011 to extend the numbers available.

Since 1973, social security numbers have been issued by our central office. The first three (3) digits of a person's social security number are determined by the ZIP Code of the mailing address shown on the application for a social security number. Prior to 1973, social security numbers were assigned by our field offices. The number merely established that his/her card was issued by one of our offices in that State

humm... don't know..because my son and daughter was born in 73 and 75...

I do know one of their number...and the 3 digits don't match up to our state.

But, all in all the P.I. has just filed the Lawsuit...

Other One... at youtube there are different ones of her posted by dates...while she was investigating.

I saw the recent one that was on the news ...the date of July 2012...this is the most recent.

And she filed the lawsuit this month. ...July 2012

The # doesn't match up for Louisiana.
