A new report on Afghanistan warns that the departure of Nato forces in 2014 could be followed by the government's collapse and even civil war, unless steps are taken now.

Duh. That is what happens when you have a corrupt government kept in power at the expense of some other country's blood trying to bring liberty to an enslaved populous.

They did not break us. We were broken when we went in because we tolerated the government corruption, drug production, human trafficing, radical islam and an American public with no stomach for the loss of American lives to stop Islamo-facsism. Don't get me wrong, I hate to see one drop of American blood being spilled in war, but that is what we are in. We are in a war. We forget that we lost more than 10,000 men on D-Day June 6th, 1944. We lost thousands everyday fighting the Japanese. And the North Koreans/Chinese during the Korean War. Yet we cringe at the loss of even one GI today. Again, don't get me wrong, I hate to see one drop of American blood being spilled in war. But that is why we are leaving without defeating our enemy there; soon they will be here.
