I believe Obama could care less what happens to the Jewish state. Demanding that Israel give up their nuclear weapons is a smokescreen. It doesn't really matter to the leaders of Iran if Israel retaliates with nuclear weapons after an Iranian nuclear attack. They are willing to sacrifice themselves as long as they can destroy Israel.
