Do you usually tell someone that you prayed for them after doing so?

Depends. If it's someone who I know and want them to know I care, yes. If it's someone who sees me as an enemy, no

I don't tell people when I pray for them (except my kids) because it's about God, not me.

I think it should stay private. Jesus said so in Matthew. We should not tell folks that kinda thing 'cuz it can get prideful. I don't think I should 'toot my own horn' so to speak. What we do in private will be rewarded openly.

When I pray for people, I keep it to myself, unless it was a prayer request from someone, then I will tell them you are or have been in my prayers lately.

I only tell them if I think it will bring them some comfort.

Do you think it's best to not reveal that you prayed for someone when you do so? Would it be better to tell them you prayed for them or it doesn't make a difference? I'm asking because I prayed for someone today who needed prayer, then I called that person and God helped them with what I prayed for. My first thoughts were to tell them I prayed for what has happened to them but then felt that it could be pride to do so. It wasn't me, it was God who helped. A little voice (or a thought) told me to do things hidden, so I didn't say anything. But now I'm telling all of you lol (for the greater good hopefully).

What's your opinion on this matter? Is it a personal choice according to what we feel or?

It's a personal choice. Sometimes I will tell the person I am praying for them but not usually.

You would not believe the many, many times I pray for someone when they do not even know it.I see many sad situations in my place of work and so I pray for them.I pray that if they do not know the Lord that their heart will be opened to Him.I pray that God's Will Be Done in their lives.I have an open line to the Lord all day long.I know He is with me and listening.

Amen~!

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25
