You know what I found that works quite well when the enemy tries to use others to affect our spirituality? I say: I rebuke any spirits who aren't of God that try to affect (this certain person's) mind and spirit away from both our minds, spirits, body and souls. I rebuke it in the name of Jesus. You'll be surprised how different the other person starts acting around you. I don't say it in front of them, I go somewhere by myself and say it out loud with faith and authority. It works :)

I guess when conflict comes along, its Gods way of pushing out all anger, bitterness, etc, in how we interact with people. What is on the inside of you will come out good or bad. God wants to work through things with you. Bring out your imperfections. Things kinda pile up so to speak in your life, forgive others. We can't be all that we should be when you don't let go of things. Have peace in your heart. Sometimes, it helps me to go take a walk and refocus with what is important, God recharges us through the beauty of the world. Confront bad behavior, pray that it goes in a positive way, and to pray help keep your strength to live the life that God created you to live.

blessings,

desi

Regarding dealing with someone who plainly lies...

Key Points... From a message by Chuck Swindoll “The Grace to Disagree...and Press On”

1. Disagreements are inevitable. (Different views, opinions, etc.)

2. Even the godly will not always agree. (Paul and Barnabus?)

3. In every disagreement there's two ingredients:

A) An issue revolving around principles of life, Scriptures, my experience, and my upbringing.

B) Differing viewpoints depending on a person's personality and values.

4. In many (if not most) disagreements each side has valid points.

5. Always leave room for the opposing point of view. (Few things are sick and immature than a closed mind.)

6. If an argument must occur, don’t insult and never assassinate. (Don’t attack someone’s character.)

7. If you don’t get your way, get over it. (Sometimes that means one party takes it on the chin.)

8. Sometimes a permanent separation is the best way to solve a disagreement.

(Chuck goes onto say that this sometimes means in marriage too)

Thoughts?

God bless,

GE

Hi, I have just read through most of these answers which are very good advice, one thing I don't think I saw was to ask if you have forgiven her, I personally would pray and forgive her then ask God how to deal with it.

Hope this helps :)
