What? Its icky death. Yea I know, but look at his response towards those who are killing him. Look at how he looked to the Lord instead of his dire circumstances. Look at how whiney we get when life gets tough instead of looking to the Lord. Sorta reminds me of the parable of the sower. Matthew 13:20-21 But that which was sown on the stony places is this: he who hears the Word and immediately receives it with joy. But he has no root in himself, and is temporary. For when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, he immediately stumbles.

One of my favorite stories is the Story of David and Goliath. It inspires me because no matter the difficulty, and even though no one is there for you or by your side, it only matters that the Lord is there. For we are surely conquerors through Christ who gives us strength.
