Their is a difference in mansions and rooms in the two different translations.Do you think we will each have huge mansions or just the Blessing of living with Jesus all together in rooms? When I get to heaven I want a small cottage on a lake at the end of a beautifully treed dirt road...with a big sewing room...lol. And I really am serious. I think the descriptions of heaven are there for our limited minds, God used things we could understand. not unlike when it speaks of God sitting on a throne or the earth being His footstool. Guest LadyC Posted July 28, 2013 Share Posted July 28, 2013 i think if God gives me a mansion, i hope it comes with a housekeeper. i don't know if we'll literally have mansions. but i DO believe that the streets will literally be paved with gold.... and if the streets are paved with gold, then maybe there will be mansions. it doesn't really matter (although i liked bfp's dream cottage), because i don't think we'll be spending much time indoors anyway. i think we'll be too busy standing in the presence of God.
