Notice how the scripture is refering to the man having his head covered while he's praying or prophesying...not sitting in church. Likewise, read the entire context. Leonard, you would escort a man out that would not take a hat off, but according to this scripture, you should hold the same zeal to escort a woman out who refuses to cover her head. Many people these days especially youth and black people really enjoy wearing a hat for whatever reasons...and I am not about to worry about some trivial outer adornment when it is their hearts G-d is interested in...they can have plenty of time to concede to the status quo later. So yes botz i would not be overly worried about a babe in Jesus wearing a hat while praying, out of ignorance to the Word. But once one has heard the Word then it will convict. However, in our society, it is still a sign of respect to remove the hat when appearing before an authority figure. Dogla....whatever it is: Technically you are incorrect. The Celebrant at Eucharist always removed his headwear before beginning The Great Thanksgiving.....

By the way I wouldn't go so far as to be "legalistic" about it and demand someone leave over the issue. I also believe that women should wear coverings on their heads over their hair, but would I kick someone out over it? No. It needs to be explained and if they decide to ignore the explanation then off with their heads. LT
