A friends father is homosexual, is there any coming back for him?

No sin is too big or bigger than the blood of Jesus Christ,i believe in the eyes of God all sin is sin,that was why Jesus came,God has no business with our pass worldly and sinful life,the day will run to God and ask for mercy,and confess and forsake that will be over,the bible said that only a fool return back to his vomit,no body is perfect and all we need is saving and enabling grace to help us live above sin,bible said we should confess and share our faults to one another.

I wanted to know an answer to a question.

 

A friend of mine has a dad who is homosexual and in a homosexual relationship.  If he were to quit his relationship and turn "straight" again, ask for forgiveness from god and get saved in a church of god.  Will he make it to heaven?  Or is the line "thou shall not sleep with the same sex" apparent to stop him from gaining access to heaven.

Homosexuality is a sin.  Sin is sin.  He does not not need to be saved in a church, he can be saved anywhere.  He has to turn his life over to God and repent.  Repent means to turn around an go in the direction of God.  I have never heard of the line," Thou shalt not sleep with the same sex"  He must as I said repent, ask God to forgive him, ask God to cleans him from ALL of his sin then ask Jesus into his heart and be born again.  Only God and he will know if this man means what he says.  God is more then able to forgive and can turn a life around when we give all  of our life to Him.  This man needs to be presented the gospel in all it's truth, then pray for him and let God do the rest. But he must stay away from that lifestyle.  In fact it is no worse them a man and a woman living together or for someone to commit  adultery.  God is still able to change a heart that is totally surrounded to Him.

Homosexuality is a sin...therefore just like all other sins, (other than blaspheming the Holy Spirit) it can be forgiven. Just like any other unregenerate person, he would need to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and come to genuine repentance. So yes indeed there is hope for this man :-)

You are absolutley right, there is nothing to big that God will not forgive. But it takes that person to realize he/she needs forgiveness...but of course satan will do everything in his power to keep that from happening.
