The problem we have here in most of the churches is that, they exercise authority over their flock. God never gave a believer authority over another. God has given the believers authority over the schemes of the devil, not believer against believer. There has to be order in a church. That is why their are pastors and administrators and what is their work? It is to serve. You take from God and you give the people. But you see these days men lording over men in the churches because an office has been given. Jesus said," this ought not be so". Let's not let our office blind us to what we have been called to do. You don't use a whip for the flock of Christ. I have seen pastors using whips and even at times going as far as taking brethern to court. Paul said" should it not be better that we suffer for doing good?" I know not in every church. But every scripture is profitable for doctrine and instruction, but what do we use for doctrines these days? Man made traditions, administrative rules and regulations, thereby enslaving the flock of Christ into bondage. I know a church, a lady cannot wear trousers to church. Is that a doctrine of Christ or of man?

Jesus is talking about having an attitude of humility. He is not addressing the authority structure of the Church. God has an authority structure in the Body of Christ that He ordained. Now I realize that there are some false shepherds who abuse their authority, but by in large we need people who are leaders and we need them to lead. yes Jesus was talking about having an attitude of humility. but the people He was addressing was not the Sanhedrin, no, but was His disciples, because they were having a strife among themselves, who should be counted as the greatest. luke 22:24. the scribes are different. except you want to tell me that we are still under an old covenant, like the scribes?

i was in a church sometime and in that church the word of the pastor or overseer is the final authority. but i know from the bible that the scripture is the final authority. when we as children of God begin to live in the scripture and put the flesh away, we will find out that at all times we will always speak the mind of God

as a child of God, if you are still under or subject to the flesh, then you are not yet a son but a servant. Jesus said the servant does not know the business of the master, but the son know the business of the Father. you have to know your identity as a son

listen friend, God's grace is sufficient for all and not some special few. we have received the spirit of the Father. so we are all sons. there is no other position in the new testament that is higher than that of a son

there is one thing we should have taught of here. what if adam and eve never fell, how would the world be? the reason we are having this discussion is just because we dont understand why everything has to revolve around God. man disobeys and God still interveins, its because the world and all that is therein was made by God and for God. God could not just sit down and watch man and satan do whatsoever they like, why, becaus e He is a jealous God. not in the word "jealous" as to contend but as to create "qanna", to produce, by implication to own. you are referring to a scripture if i am correct, 1 Corinthians 6:3' "know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? according to the original greek text, the word there angels is called "aggelos" from "aggello" meaning someone that brings glad tidings, or a messenger, or by implication a pastor.it does not mean fallen angels or lucifer, no. paul here was writing to let the believers know that they have not been called into Christ and not being able to take up responsibilty to say this and this is wrong, this and this is right. you often here believers say, "thou shalt not judge". it is just a simple way of saying, "please dont bother me", which is pure wickedness. not that believers dont know what to do, but because they themselves were bound by some kind of weakness, so they rather remain silent. paul make bold his faith by not being a hypocrite like many brethern. paul could rebuke peter and other jews not because he was perfect but because we have been called into the ministry of reconciliation, reconciling all things unto God and doing what God Himself would do, because we have the spirit of God in us

God had a plan for man, but very unfortunate for Adam, he never entered the plan of God for his life. so whatever we see now is just a makeup from the actual plan of God for man. you cannot ascertain or conclude what God's plan for man was. if adam had obeyed God, we would have seen a better ball game alltogether. He did not abolish the 10 commandments, but He fulrilled them.He became our commandments. if you read well He said, For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. all the laws and prophets was actually fulfilled in Christ. Jesus gave that prophesy because He actually came to fulfill it, Psa_40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me. Heb_10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. you should understand the timing of Jesus, He had about of things to do and He was very wise to making sure He did them without errors or contradiction, because He Himself gave them the torah. the truth of the matter is this, you cannot understand scripture except you are saved. there was nothing wrong with the 10 commandments, Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Heb 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. they could not keep it because of their heart of unbelief. that is why Jesus said, Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. old testament is not born or spirit. in fact you have to just first believe in Jesus as a new covenant in God, because this topic can never be explained with few lines

You need to hear those news so that there will be a consciousness in your spirit to always keep you at alert. Not that the news keep you on your feet, but it puts a sensation in you that triggers your spirit into trusting God the more in an unreliable world of evil and deception

God knows you better than you know yourself when you are an unbeliever. He knows all you are is a helpless child, confused and needing help. But when you turn to Jesus, then He knows you are no more helpless. Then trials come to make you strong, and you can now fight with Him on your side. The problem is this, we always remember Egypt whenever we face challenges, instead of looking unto the one that has called us miraculously from Egypt. Each time God leaves a land mark behind your past, it is to assure you that what He did, He can do more and more, again and again. I once had the same experience, before long we burnt with evil desires inside and each time I look at her I remember the past and I wished it never ended, I just couldn't wait for marriage, why? Bcos of sex. Each time a fish craves for the worm, it will soon be caught up by a threaded hook. When you truly follow Christ, you will ever regret your past and a true desire to separate from the flesh will come. True love for Christ means true followership, I'm not sure of that word, but it's ok, true followership means true obedience. You can never walk with God in the tracks of your past. New wine, new bottle, old wine, old bottle. You must not be scared to stay apart until marriage, if only you believe this statement, " the prince of this world Connery and findeth nothing in me". The trick is this, you may never have a full conviction of sin not until you pack your bags, tell sin no and expose sin. When you put sin to a public shame then you will get a true hatred for and from sin.

God does not reveal Himself in idolatry. God's word cannot change. God walks with them that their hearts is stayed on Him. Scriptures cannot be broken. Have you ever asked, why the children of Moses was only mentioned very few times and not concerning the promise land? A people that choose to serve other gods, God destroys. Noah, Enoch, Abraham, all had a background of transgressors but they choose to be different in the world they found themselves, knowing that for every visible good thing, there must be a better invisiblity. Though most of them had even battled their past before God called them. If you are not ready to let your past go then your past will eat up into your future. They let go, and God lead them in.

The word of God didn't profit our fathers, why, they never mixed it with faith. Same thing in our time, we do not believe, even when we see it. " seeing they will not see, hearing they will not hear,... So that they cannot be healed". No man is a guru in the bible, the best you can do is to trust the word of God to direct your life and do a good preservation. Matt 5:18 now read this Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill verse 17, read again Matthew 3:15 >> And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. If we know the word fulfill then we understand that Jesus has fulfilled the law and prophets that's why all the laws are now passed away. Bcos we still don't understand the bible that's why we don't even know that it's been fulfilled already. He didn't come to abolish without fulfilling the old was what Jesus meant. You can never quote Jesus wrong. Read matt again, you will know that it's all being fulfilled.

Hello fez; let's check the apostles, miracles were done in great measures why? But our time we don't experience such. How many blind eyes have you seen open? Let's leave cancer out of it or HIV aids. What brought about the power of the apostles even those of them that never say Jesus face to face like Paul. It's the gospel which they received, which they heard. Every miracle is an answer to a problem, saying the right solution brings the right answers. Sound doctrine brings real proof. True power comes with going to witness the gospel. Poor result is as a result of poor doctrine, never of faith. Take your time to document the way of life of Jesus and the apostles and compare with what we are doing now as believers, it's totally different. We are full of church activities, thinking we can bribe God with tithes and offerings instead of going to win souls. The world has entered our churches and the church has migrated into the world.

You cannot be under two covenants. That is the whole essence of the New Testament. Heb.1:1 this new dispensation is the time to walk in the ways of the commands of Christ. It is better than that of Moses bcos it does not carry curses. No one is cursed under the new covenant.

Homosexuality is sin. If he calls on God or opens the door of his hear to Jesus, he will be saved. But he has to live for Christ Jesus, saying no to sin and yes to God.

Arose88; You don't have to fear the world or people that will go to hell but rather fear for the world or people not to hear the true gospel. Your preaching cannot save anyone but it is God that saves. So all we do is to preach it and let God save it. But the issue is this, let them hear the true gospel. If the true word is not preached, then what will save them? Pick up your New Testament and preach it. Then all your fears will be gone. Because you care so much for people that's why you are bothered and it's a good thing. It is called compassion. If you keep up that compassion you will go greater works than Jesus bcos almost every miracle He did, they were done out of compassion. Keep up the spirit.
