You can not forget we are the coffee capital of the world.Especially Seattle,Washington.

Could you please provide information to back up that claim .

From what I know that is not entirely true.

Granted wiki is not always accurate but back in 2008,,,Finland was.

When it comes to actual coffee consumption per person, the US doesn’t even crack the top 15.

Just saying that perhaps another myth has been dispelled.  :whistling:

But I could be wrong, after all I prefer tea.

Please let me rephrase that statement as the coffee capitial of the USA not the world.

Most people don't realize that Cascade mountains with 14,000 foot Mt. Rainier divide the state. The big tree wet side is only 1/3 of the state. The east part is partly irrigated shrub step, irrigated river valleys and scablands . There is an area known as the "Juniper Forest" that is sand dunes desert sparsly populated with wild juniper. Some is dry wheat land with rolling hills. Some is sagebrush mixed pine forest. WA west, especially Seattle, often acts ashamed of WA east and some don't even speak to its inhabitants except to taste the wines. While I was born on the moldy side with 86" annual rainfall, I am happy to live on the dry side where most of our 5-7" of rain falls while the ground is frozen.
