Yes I am. I came to Jesus at the age of 15. What a awesome God we serve. I haven't regretted a day of this walk.

I am. I don't know if any one here knows what the penicastol is. I am penicastol. I have been baptized in the name of the lord and had resived the holy ghost last year at a convention in Appleton wisconsin.

Yeah, I'm a Christian as of this second, but not a very good one, I never read my Bible or pray or go to church on sundays or listen to christian music, plus I swear a lot and have sinful thoughts and i always give in to temptation. Sometimes I just think about giving it all up and leaving religion because it is so hard.

Slim, it shouldn't be that hard. Sure, sometimes it's difficult, but what you are talking about doesn't sound right. You should have a general peace about you, and you should have desire to live for God and please Him. Of course, you will be tempted and will want things that might not be "christian-like", but it just shouldn't be the kind of struggle you are decribing.

If you have "religion", then that's probably why you are struggling so badly. Religion will get you nowhere. A relationship with the living God will change your life and your desires. Have you sincerely asked Him to change your life and your desires?

Stop struggling and listen for what God is saying to you. Tell Him what the problems are, and that you want these things that you know are wrong. You can't hide it from God, and He wants to know about them.

I am! I was born again 5 months ago. Though I come from a society of Orthodox Christians, my father used to consider it cute when I refused to go to church with my mom when I was a kid. He himself never went, growing up I used to be serious about God for a few weeks at most but about 5 months ago something touched me...God quenched my thirst and put my soul to rest! Since then I don't wonder nomore, I don't search nomore - I'm content with belonging to Jesus
