Greatly harmful

This is what I've read in many people's posts, but nobody has said how. Nobody gives any examples. It's not enough to say, "very harmful."

I've read a few of the articles that people have given links to, but it's hard for me to take any of them seriously because I don't know the authors of them and there are just too many people "witch-hunting" or trying to be more "authoritative" than other people. (In regards to these articles, that is. Not saying people on these boards.) This has been my experience anyway.

to give you a copy of Rick Warren's book, give them a copy of Who's

Driving The Purpose Driven Church? and above all, pray for them.

Anybody who is for this "Purpose Driven" tripe ought to read "Deceived on Purpose."

The first time someone asked for my opinion on this matter I had never heard of Rick Warren, his church or his book, but I said: "Sheep are led, not driven." I'll stand by that.

My prayer group just listen to the first three lesson/chapters on tape last night. I did not hear anything wrong. I thought it was very simple. I think so far that it might be something to get someone who knows nothing about the Bible or God to show a little interest. They may be more open to this then a Bible study or a church service.

I read over chapter four at my sister in-laws house and it had a lot of quates and illustrations, but I did not see anything wrong with it.

Yeah I agree ...

We did a study on it in our church about 6 months ago. I did not get to be a part of all of it, but it was good.

I don't think my Pastor would let something into our church that would harm us....

But, I have the book at home and will give it another look.

Seems to me it is another way to direct people back to the word and to use it in our daily life!

Yeah I agree ...

We did a study on it in our church about 6 months ago. I did not get to be a part of all of it, but it was good.

One thing wrong with the (PD) book is the demonic Bible per-versions used in it and the message bible is the top of the list.
