2 Peter 3:7-12

The Day of the Lord will come like a thief, and on that day the heavens will vanish with a roar; and the elements will be destroyed by fire,

I am confused. It does not sound like there is time for a millennial kingdom.

John 10:10

A thief comes only to steal, slaughter and destroy.

A funny kind of rapture.

Rev. 3:3

I will come like a thief.

Coming as a thief is used as a threat to the church of Sardis. Whereas those who have not soiled

their garments will walk with Jesus.

Does not sound like any Rapture I want to participate in. So how is it our Lord and master is suppose tobe sneakin' here when he is coming in the clouds and will be seen as lightning from the east flashes.

Matthew 13:30

first collect the weeds

Those still alive will witness the disappearance of those destined for wrath.

Romans 9:22

This was to make known the riches of his glory to the vessels of mercy.

1Cor. 15:51

we will all be changed in an instant in a blink of an eye, at the last trumpet.

And then

Matthew 24:31

He will dispatch his angels to assemble his chosen.

I agree completely tigger, that is the imagery of the rapture.

I second that. The entire passage from v 32 to v 51 is addressed to the Church, and the necessity of being ready for the Lord's return for His saints.

The confusion arises because many do not take the context of each passage into account. This passage (from v 1-14) is speaking of the total conflagration and purification of the earth just prior to the creation of a New Heavens and a New Earth (v 13).  It has nothing to do with the Rapture or the Millennium (which are both before this event).  Similarly many of the Scriptures you have quoted.
