I would like some christian resources to learn more about God and to build my relationship with him.

However, I'm not a big fan of reading or listening to someone speaking for lengths of time.

Does anyone know of some alternative resources?
For example, comics, visual novels or online movies?

You can listen to a church sermon online if you want. I know a great church I listen to and watch at times, it's not very lengthy, only about 35 min. If you go to youtube type: "pastor James Watts Grandview Church" and you'll see a bunch of his videos come up. He's the most Holy Spirited preacher I've ever heard (in my opinion).

Personally to me I've found that the Bible itself is one of the most visible picture one can find,  for it is a "living book" there is life in the very words and there is no other written works in my opinion that even compares to it.

The Living Bible - Pro’s and con’s

As with any paraphrase, putting the Bible "in your own words" runs the risk of enabling your own biases, thoughts, and preferences to influence what the Bible says. This is impossible to avoid. The primary problem of any paraphrase of the Bible is that it inputs far too much of a person's opinion of what the Bible says, instead of simply stating what the Bible says. There is nothing inherently wrong with a paraphrase, as long as users of the paraphrase understand exactly what it is - not a Bible translation, but rather an interpretation/commentary on what the Bible says.

I was talking about a book which is "The Case For Christ" by Lee Strobel. It is good for those who want to see what Christ is all about.

Bopeep I personally don't like paraphrase bibles and to me I don't consider them to be the bible being God's written Word which is not from man but given by inspiration of God.

I would like some christian resources to learn more about God and to build my relationship with him.

God has provided you with one solid resource -- the Holy Bible.  To build your relationship with Him, read and meditate on the Psalms, since they are meant to communicate with God.

If you would rather not read, you can get an audio Bible.  Make sure you get the King James or Authorized Version.  In addition to that get Nave's Topical Bible (KJV) where all Scriptures pertaining to any topic in the Bible are gathered together to help you grasp the subject.

Why do I recommend the KJV?  Because all modern versions are based upon corruptions of the Bible text.  Enough said.
