Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the chairman of Iran’s powerful Expediency Council, warned in comments that the “outbreak of World War III” is coming in the near future, according to a report by Iran’s Fars News Agency. “The threat of the outbreak of the third world war by the terrorists is serious,” Rafsanjani was quoted as saying in a meeting with Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni, who was in Tehran this week for a meeting with Iranian officials. (noting the big number of countries fighting, that they stirred into fighting as they have a habit of doing) some people don't believe even the Scripture that tells of the one who has started most all the conflicts/ wars/ actions/ brutally and without conscience , to shed innocent blood and to gain world dominance at any cost. It is the Persians attack on Israel along with numerous other Islamic nations, all backed by Russia and her forces, as described in Ezekiel 38 and 39, that will be one of the main battles in the 3rd world war. All the participates are choosing their side in this coming battle. I believe Syria may be the catalyst igniting the whole thing, when/if we see the destruction of Damascus.
