If salvation is by believing in the heart and confessing with the mouth. And faith comes by hearing the word of God...

Can the deaf and non-verbal be saved?

And what happens to those who are incapable of deciding for themselves...

Or even the blind?

Just  a question that came to my heart this evening...

I'll appreciate your opinions.

Thank you

Deaf and dumb is not the proper word to use.Deaf and non-verbal is correct. If a person who is Deaf and non-verbal ask Jesus Christ into their life they will be saved and go to heaven just like any other born again Christian. They are capable of seeking out Jesus Christ. If a person is so severely disabled that they are not able to know Jesus Christ they will automatically go to heaven.

God overcomes all physical and spiritual obstacles to bring souls to Himself.  Nothing to be overly concerned about. Just preach the Gospel by any and all means.  And there are all kinds of modern devices which overcome all these limitations or disabilities (deaf, dumb, blind, etc.).

What is wonderful is that all those who have disabilities who go to heaven will be cured. The blind will see again. Those in wheelchairs will walk again.

The bible tells us that no one has an excuse. Which tells me that everyone has the opportunity to believe in Him or not. So I dont think the deaf and dumb or nonverbal is incapable of getting saved. There are ways of hearing that are not audible.

I am sure... God is given plans to get salvation to all people. . before confessing with mouth repentance is comes from heart..

Rom 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Accepting or confessing before people may comes after action in the heart.. Salvation starts from the relation with God in heart..

God is not a person to make salvation process as a troublesome process..

Is there any scripture that actually supports that claim that they will get free pass to heaven?

I don't believe anyone is asserting that. Every sinner must repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and receive Him as Lord and Saviour.  Obedience to the Gospel is essential.

At the same time we must always insist and proclaim that salvation is a FREE GIFT of God's grace. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us... (Tit 3:5).

I never said they get a free pass. I merely said no one would have an excuse. That for anyone who wants to know Him, the bible says He will reveal Himself. There are ways other than something audible for a person to find out what the gospel says or to confess Him as Lord and Savior.
