By the way shout out to Sinnersaved for posting Do we understand the cost of following Jesus. Bc of that post im starting this one. ...do you remember the first week or four or more after you gave your life to the Lord. I remember mine. I remember so awesomely. May 8th i re-dedicated my life to God i had an encouter with Him He held my hand that day and has been it holding ever since. But for a year life was a bowl full of great. It seemed that every prayer was yes and God did awesome things. 1. I got an A in a class I did practically zero work for. I went to Him and He said repent to the professor then ask for extra credit. 2. I had amazing word time 3. A dear friend came to Christ after I prayed and asked her to come to Bible Stusy with me 4. I was generally happier 5. Got the jobs i prayed for 6. The apartment i prayed for 7. Got to live with the friends to wanted to live with. Wow so much more....in my church we call it the honeymoon period when God allows you see His goodness and faithfulness with out much being required....ya know being a babe in the Lord. As you grow and mature in Gods word He starts requiring you to use the wisdom He has given you and put the word into practice. I also remember this day as well....but thats another post. Unfortunately for me, God had led me to a community that could not really accept my passion for Jesus, and would later reject me.
