Evolutionary "science" is corroborating that something significant happened 6,000 years ago. They call it an "ecosystem shift".  Christians call it Creation.

How many threads do we need covering the first few verses of Genesis?

The point of this thread is to see how evolutionists have now concluded that something significant happened 6,000 years ago.  That is not old news.

I agree and just to remind everyone, I am not a supporter of evolution either although I do believe in an old Earth.  I look forward to reading the link above, hopefully tonight.

God Bless,

Or will they be like the left-liberals saying Radical Islam does not exist even as they get slaughtered?

This really doesn't support a 6000 year old Earth hypothesis.  I'm not sure what you think this article suggests.

What the article suggests is that something very significant happened on earth 6,000 years ago.  Christians know what happened. Evolutionists will keep dithering around. But now the millions and billions of years are not as significant as 6,000 years.  On the other hand, don't expect evolutionists to suddenly say "We were mistaken".

"It’s hard to imagine a global force strong enough to change natural patterns that have persisted on Earth for more than 300 million years, but a new study shows that human beings have been doing exactly that for about 6,000 years."

That "global force" according to the Bible was God. But for those who refuse to acknowledge the Creator, it is some tkind of mysterious natural force.

If anything, the article seems to support an OEC, especially The Gap View, and tends to dismiss YEC.  That was the point of my comment.

Aside from the 6000 year marker there's nothing from the article that points to a creation event.  Now if the article was talking about an explosion of life 6000 years ago I'd see the connection.
