Why wasn't this story on every front page, and the leading story on every TV news network? --- For this is truly scary, especially as the border between the U.S. and Mexico is so permeable. Also, the fact that Jade Helm took place in some states bordering Mexico could point to a U.S.-government fear that an Islamic militant group could cross the border undetected and attack a major city nearby such as Phoenix or San Antonio. The U.S. border with Mexico is so long and unguarded that it would be possible for this to happen, just as it has been possible for millions of immigrants to illegally cross the border. Also, Mexico is a perfect staging ground for a major terrorist attack against the U.S., because Mexican security forces and politicians so easily take bribes to look the other way. That is why there are so many powerful drug cartels in Mexico, which can even take over whole towns with impunity, and why Mexican drug kingpins can repeatedly "escape" even maximum-security prisons there. --- Someone might ask: "But if the border is so permeable, why has not any terrorist attack been committed so far by terrorists crossing the border?" --- The answer could be, simply because the U.S. so far has been lucky. --- In order for the U.S. to continually monitor the entire border, it may need to employ many surveillance planes, and/or drones, flying in horizontal loops all along the border, just as, for example, they are constantly flying in horizontal loops off the coast of San Diego, looking for any seaborne infiltrations (such as of drug smugglers) originating from Mexico. --- But a continuing problem is detecting long, smuggling tunnels that stretch underneath the border. --- A real nightmare would be if Islamic terrorists paid a Mexican drug cartel to use its smuggling tunnels to infiltrate large numbers of jihadists, weapons, and explosives into the U.S. So the U.S. needs to use ground-penetrating radar to immediately locate all of the tunnels which now cross the border, and to continually scan the entire border to immediately locate any new tunnels which will be dug in the future.

Mainstream media is focused on an old woman stage performer dropping the F bomb and talking about having thought long and hard about blowing up the White house. They don't have time to talk about Mexican drug cartel's ! That could be construed as xenophobic. :guns:
