Do you follow the rest of the laws in the Old Testament, such as not wearing clothing of mixed fabric?

This has nothing to do with homosexuality. The new testament speaks against homosexuality too.

In Matthew 19:5-6 Christ didn't say let man leave his father and mother and be joined to his husband.

In the beginning God created man and woman, male and female for procreation...all homosexuals produce is disease and more disease...what they do in their own bedrooms is their business, what they do in public and try to push on the public, with the help of perverted politicians, and the UN organization takes away from freedoms which everyone is supposed to have, and no one should be forced to accept their perverted lifestyle...you got 2 percent of the population that are homosexuals dictating their agenda to 98 percent of the population...sad reflection on todays society...

If homosexuality is so innocent, why are they producing so many diseases...one example is the contamination of the Canadian blood supply in the 80s..http://www.realwomenofcanada.ca/thank-you/

You interpret the Bible as strongly opposing homosexuality.

"Leviticus 18:22 in the King James Version states: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." Leviticus 20:13 is similar, except that it adds the death penalty as punishment.

Although the original Hebrew clearly refers to male-male sexual activity, both the Living Bible and New Living Translation refer to a prohibition of "homosexuality." This would include sex between two women -- a behavior not mentioned anywhere in the Hebrew Scriptures.

A common conservative interpretation: These verses clearly condemn sexual activity between two males. As such, they are consistent with other passages discussed in this essay. No exception is given for consensual sex between two men or for sex within a loving same-sex relationship. All are an abomination to God.

A common liberal interpretation: The Hebrew word "to'ebah" appears in both passages and is generally translated as "abomination." Some religious liberals interpret these passages as referring only to male Jews who engaged in same-sex behavior in Pagan temples. The term would better be translated as "ritually improper" or "involving foreign religious cult practice." Elsewhere in the Hebrew Scriptures, the same word is used to ban wearing of clothing made up from two materials (like cotton-polyester in today's world), or having a tattoo, eating shrimp, eating pork, seeding lawns with a mixture of grass types, etc. None of the passages invoking "T'ebah" are valid for non-Jews today."

Hi Tea Ess

This is part of the Statement of belief from the link you gave to support your 'argument'

" We are a multi-faith group. As of late-2016, we consist of one Atheist, Agnostic, Christian, Wiccan and Zen Buddhist. Thus, the OCRT staff lack agreement on almost all theological matters, such as belief in a supreme being, the nature of God, interpretation of the Bible and other holy texts, whether life after death exists, what form the afterlife may take, etc. "

This makes me question your veracity or intentions on this Christian Ministry website and as such i have reported your post to bring it to the attention of the moderators..

Wow, so many things to address. First, it's not homosexuality that produced HIV/AIDS. "HIV crossed from chimps to humans in the 1920's in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo. This was probably as a result of chimps carrying the Simian Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV), a virus closely related to HIV, being hunted and eaten by people living in the area." And instead of constantly blaming people for getting infected by a disease, maybe it's better to be compassionate towards them, and also be proactive in finding solutions. Humans have made incredible strides in reducing the number of deaths caused by AIDS, and we can continue to so with all diseases.

The webpage you shared just says "Thank you for signing up to receive our Alerts. We appreciate your interest in staying current on issues impacting women and the family."

As far as procreation, there's adoption, surrogacy, and artificial insemination as options. Gay people aren't the only ones who are unable to procreate naturally with their partners, as there are plenty of infertile people out there too. Again, compassion and finding solutions should be the focus instead of blaming people for being unable to have children.

People love to throw around that 98% figure, but it doesn't mean much. LGBT people are a minority, but that's no excuse to infringe upon their rights. "The LGBT Agenda" doesn't call for stopping heterosexual people from marrying, or opposite sex couples from adopting, or discrimination against straight people. LGBT people generally just want to be able to live their lives without being harassed/killed/discriminated against just because of their sexual orientation or gender  identity. It's also important to remember that while gay people might only be a small percentage of the population, there are thankfully far more people who are in favor of securing and protecting equal rights for them.

Okay? I'm didn't intend for anyone to be offended by the source. It simply gives another perspective. If you want to avoid everyone who has a different faith, the internet might not be the place for you.

Since you say there is nothing wrong with being  homosexuals I then have the right to ask you if you are a "gay Christian"

You have the right to ask, but I don't have the obligation to answer you. :)
