This thread more or less started off with people decrying women being judged by their physical attractiveness. Then the next couple pages were all about the First Lady's attractiveness and she was even judged to be more attractive than another first lady. I say if it is wrong to judge a woman negatively based upon her physical attractiveness, then it should be equally wrong to do so in a positive way also. If it is ok to pay someone a "compliment" based upon their physical beauty then it should equally ok to comment on the lack thereof. But I do not think that most people feel that is the case. Also, it seems that only women are payed that sort of well deserved compliment as I cannot remember the last male occupant of the White House that people felt the need to compliment on their physical beauty. It is commonplace for people to complain about women being judged based on their physical beauty, yet we as a society perpetuate the problem by doing so on a regular basis.
