The Ethiopian orthodox church has 93 books and they considered this the entire divinely inspired Bible. Their canon might be different, but I doubt they consider it open. I doubt they would say new revelation or books can be added or removed.

So to help me understand the Protestant point of view I may end up with lots of questions. I believe everyone here agrees that the canon of scripture is closed meaning no more books can be added to the bible. Heres my question: where does that teaching come from and is it biblical? Men. Yes.And no. Canon: an ecclesiastical rule or law enacted by a council or other competent authority and, in the Roman Catholic Church, approved by the pope. 2.the body of ecclesiastical law. 3.the body of rules, principles, or standards accepted as axiomatic and universally binding in a field of study or art: (*or religion)*my addition.a fundamental principle or general rule: the canons of good behavior. 5.a standard; criterion: the canons of taste. 6.the books of the Bible recognized by any Christian church as genuine and inspired. 7.any officially recognized set of sacred books. Man invented the Bible from what was gleaned as the inspired words of God and from many written and oral resources compiled those at discretion and bound them in a tome. This so that we could have a road map to find our way to what speaks to our heart to seek it out. However, while the closed canon necessarily implies that God shall not add anything to the Bible again, it does not mean God will never speak to his children again. It is relationship that we are in being we are all in the spirit of God.

Exactly, and aren't some of the Pauline letters still disputed?

For your reference, these six disputed epistles, letters, Colossians, Ephesians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Timothy, and Titus, are known as Deutero-Pauline Letters , Second-Pauline Letters. Believed written after Paul and by his followers so as to "modify his image and extend his influence". Resource
