When Rahab lied to the guards, sparing the lives of the spies, the Lord blessed her. I know she did a fantastic overture, sparing the lives of the spies - but why would God bless this action brought about through a lie? The same is true of the midwives who refused to murder the infant boys. The lied and the Lord blessed them. I am interested in your views.

God looks upon the heart and judges the heart. Apparently God when looking upon the hearts of the women you quoted, He saw no sin.

What does God's Word say ? Can you show from the original Scripture in the original Ten Commandments any Commandment that says lying is always wrong or that lying always sin ? 1

The lord used a lying spirit to perform His will, and no doubt, being the most excellent chess player that He is, He will continue to do what is necessary to further His Redemptive Plan. If something is done or said that is not 100% true, then it is a lie. Have you ever tried to go a whole day without deceiving anyone, or telling a lie. Try it.
