"legalists" as you call them. Are supporting the law commanded by God.

No, they are not.   I know many Sabbath keepers who keep the commandments and are not legalists.

If you can find an error in that, then you can call them "legalists".

If you deny the validity of law, then your whole scripture is upside down.

I deny the silly way you guys are try to impose the law on other believers.

I say to you, 'Jesus taught how to keep the Sabbath, not how to avoid it'.

What part of that is silly?

Jesus never issued any commandment to the Church to keep the Sabbath.   Jesus didn't teach how to keep the Sabbath.   Jesus IS the Sabbath.   You can have your Sabbath day.   I will take the One who is the very personification of the Sabbath.

Jesus clearly and plainly taught, how to keep the Sabbath.

That's it, nothing more, nothing less.

He did not command it to us.   He is the one to whom the Sabbath pointed.    So in order to be like you, I have to go backwards.  I have treat the Sabbath like Jesus hasn't come yet and brought it to fuller expression in His Person.   I would have to return to the OT economy and live like the Sabbath is still pointing to Jesus.

I have Jesus and He is my Sabbath and He supersedes the Sabbath day.   If you still want the Sabbath day, that's up to you.   But I am a Christian and Christians understand that Jesus is the only Sabbath they need.   You can wallow in the law if you want.  I will worship the one to whom the law pointed and I find my rest in Him.

You deny that Jesus is the sabbath. We rest in him from all our works.

I think you need these verses to.

Hebrews chapter 7

11. If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there still need for another priest to come--one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron?

12. For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law.

18. The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless

19. (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.

People are  trying to get christians to keep the seventh day sabbath of rest.

The Sabbath was a shadow of the rest in christ we have.

If you say we still have to keep it you are putting a yoke on others.

We are free to kerp any day to the lord. Rest on monday if you wish and honor God.

Amen Wayne. Even the NT says though the Saturday Sabbath hasnt changed we dont HAVE to keep it.

And Jesus taught people how to keep the Sabbath or the Law only because the people were still under the Law as Jesus hadnt yet DIED. Big difference thus between them and us

People "whining" about Sabbath, are not doing something wrong, by keeping the law valid.

Where in the NT please does it say we have to keep the Law to be saved? There has been thread after thread on this where we teach what it truly means to be saved by grace and we are NOT under the Law.
